In the second part of the movie, Yuzuru is quite an intense character....His just......yeah....the pace was super slow over all of the movie which included the first movie when I binged them together...had to up the tempo and skip thru the drag to get to the main point of the movie .....
loved the characterization of the main leads..there was a lack in chemistry for the main leads which I feel could've been better..or just maybe the actors were not in their comfortable zones to portray the characters....Also taking consideration of origin country traditions and taboo on LGBT stance makes this movie worth the watch.
A lot of repress feelings being displayed and the internal dialog was all over the place had to do a repeat to catch up with the story line....

main couple....boring as hell....2nd main couple (Ryu&Mai) extra boring...even the gay coupling is just too extra to even mention....I'm here feeling Bas&Ken in their gaudy moody thingy...lol...
the following review is not my own...took it from a youtube user known as Cecile. I myself was a bit lost after watching both 1st and 2nd part of the short movie so I went searching for clear explanation of what happened. So far the following descriptive explanation does it for me...
1st movie time - SLS and CJN met as child and became friends - eventually fell in love - but because SLS is stubborn, CJN ends up leaving as an exchange student
- 2 years after CJN left - CJN has an accident?? - like, a very bad accident which made him lose his memory and damaged his face very badly - SLS is here and ask the psy what he can do to help - to which the psy answers that he should leave - anyway the psy, upon saying he will help CJN remembers, starts feeding him other memories - he turns CJN into Luo He (THAT'S VERY FUCKED UP) (the original LH apparently died from suicide) - and one day LH find the vhs tapes left by CJN and starts to record his own tape in which he says he has fallen in love with the psy
- 3 years after CJN left, 1 year after the accident - JiaYi is SLS's friend since they're like, 15 - she likes SLS but he says he can't forget that one person - so she hires LH to play the part of her boyfriend (for reasons unclear, that was too Straight for me) - anyway she drinks and she finds a box with vhs tapes - LH asks to not touch it, and she starts making a move on him - which he doesn't like, and end up killing her - he dumps her body in the ocean and tries to kill himself (??) - but he has like a vision of CJN saving him - also him drowning while CJN appears to save him is a recurrent dream of his (probably linked to the fact that well, he is CJN) - anyway a month later, SLS asks to see him - and LH has like a flash and calls SLS LuSheng - and that's when SLS unconsciously realizes that it's CJN - then drink and go on the bridge where they separated, and LSL thank LH - later SLS comes drunk to LH's appartment, and calls him JingNian (my heA R T) - LH has a flash and now remembers he killed JiaYi - so he runs away - SLS pursues him because he knows he's CJN - they hug!!!! - but then just like when they were kids, CJN puts his hand on SLS's eyes and asks him for an advance of 30s - BUT THEN WE HAVE A VOICEOVER OF SLS SAYING HE LOST FOR THE FIRST TIME - SO I GUESS CJN FLED - AND THEY NEVER SAW EACH OTHER AGAIN
and dropping this drama at episode 9...i can already tell where this nonsense is heading....ugh....head to drop…
I take this comment back.....yes there were parts of the series that were lagging like hell and really unnecessary plus sub love arcs that are just to cringy to think about..but watching it through to the last episode really made a whole bunch of difference....
Give it to the cast, crew and team in producing such a powerful piece....
Im all about that 2nd male lead syndrome....even though the first male lead was cute...but forget both of them as the main male who transitioned is a hawtie himself...lol....talk about showing up everyone else in the show..lol....LOVED LOVED LOVED SAINT in his other works and its because of him that I ended up here with this series...
and dropping this drama at episode 9...i can already tell where this nonsense is heading....ugh....head to drop another drama K2 due to same nonsense of when leads become romantically entangled and the plot becomes less interesting....
Fugg it back to BL series drama....they are more intriguing....bye bijjj
the only worthwhile story arch to follow was that of Sandee and her friends....The rest of the sisters and their mess are just irrelevant....From the eldest to the youngest story arch they are trying to much to put substance into empty story plots...
Sandee and her group of friends are the only story arch that made this whole series worth watching...had to do a lot of skipping to get to Sandee and her friends story.
The drama is good, but the girl is so cringey you have to force yourself to watch or fast forward parts, I did…
LOL....no joke about that oppa here and oppa there...wanted to slap somebody at the mention of that word....and that damn girl character was annoying AF....wished she was the one that died in the fire instead of the mom.... UGH
have absolutely no interest in Korean Drama...So when this drama was recommended to me, i didn't have any high hopes for it. Just as expected the FL (BWR) is annoying AF with her constant stupidity naive sub plot story arc. I have no idea why here character exist to begin with in the first place...She totally ruined the whole story line...went through youtube comments and it seems most viewers agree that this character was not necessary....
ugh with that in mind dropping this drama at episode 8. what a complete waste of my time. They should've just focus the whole drama on the brothers relationship and struggles which has a much interesting story arc....
This drama has so many memorable supporting characters...the likes of Gu Naihyi, Ning Cheng, Feng Hao, Stableman Son, and more.....these supporting characters made the show thrilling and invigorating with their sub plot stories.
The show was all great and awesome until the love plot began...it became annoying as fuck and that FL character needed to die like by episode 5.....seriously...
