Hey episdoe 3......bye drama series...LMFAO.....yeah it was heading somewhere than i got lost and completely confused..anyhow....like most commentators have mentioned the best part of this series are the OST..and this is only at episode 3 which I've managed to get to.....
there was so much over acting and exaggeration that BALI and KDRAMA's must be dying from the cringe of it all...anyhow...the gimmick and mimmick of the characters to act craxy and stupid had done it in for me....
Thanks but lets move it on....Was gonna hold it out for actor Niu Jun Feng yet even him couldn't save this drama for me....OK enuff rant..
yeah just 15 minutes into the drama and already couldn't stand the FL character..although I'm a fan of Jiang Chao, it aint enuff to keep me watching such an annoying female character...dropping this into the drop list and not interested category....
I'm just starting this drama and it looks really interesting, yet already I'm super annoyed with the female lead character...not sure why but only at episode 3 and already thinking of dropping this show.....HELP?!?!?!?!
OMG.....try watching "Can You Hear My Heart"...yeah the FL from that drama and this one are total Oppa Sisters crying that damn word every moment they speak...ugh...lol
I was enjoying the series and all of it's cliche story arcs till episode 8. The minute that forced romance between the ML and FL was drawn out I was ready to jump off that damn ship. Like thanks for ruining an already hard to swallow series...
Given that it was comical and light to follow and somewhat nonsense but still they could've made it bearable till the end. Reading through the comments to see if I'm the only one feeling like this early in the series but seems like a lot of people are just dropping the drama left and right...
well hey thanks for the laughs there but say hello to my DROPPED list....
its such a beautiful sad strong inspiring story. Loved the plot and the transitions in which the characters undergoes to face the challenges that rises....xoxoxoxox love love love love this movie.....
Hwang Jung Eum is the most annoying SK actress, i skip all her dramas because she is my top one worse of all times,…
I was gonna write about the same about the lead actress until i came across your comment and couldn't stop laughing....its my second drama watching her and like the first a lot of people were saying that she is a good actress and that i might be bias towards here..after going through this drama i'm certain that she is just annoying and probably will never make my top fav actresses like ever..... from her role in "can you hear my heart" to "kill me heal me" yeah she goes off the chart being the annoying character....
aside from the female lead the drama was pretty entertaining and interesting...loved the subplots that deals with the multiple personalities...
At 1 point I wanted the princess to end the Female Lead...I was thinking if she had died during the hunting everyone would be saved from her constant crying scenes and complaining and never ending blabbering....LOL....
I liked this, but I will confess I did not care for the romance angle. It was ok if as a Drama with comedic elements.Don't…
Couldn't stop laughing reading you post...I was also thinking the same thing about the romance as a huge failure. That love triangle would've been more interesting between the 2 main male lead and Yeo Wool (My fav Hwarang...the pretties Hwarang ever...lol)....
As this is my first Kdrama watching this female lead in so I'll just wait for another interesting drama with her as a lead in it. Someone else wrote in their post that the female lead would've been more impactful as a minor character like that of Soo Ho's sister which I think could work.
So I went ahead and binge this drama before the ending of 2019 and it was thrilling and exciting to fall in love with the 6 main Hwarangs and following their stories and development (or little there was for some characters).
Kdrama's have the best songs and musical selections ever. I've recently come to discover great songs through Kdrama's OST and found myself become a fan of KPOP because of that. Particular to this drama the OST Wherever it is by Han Dong Geun stood out the most and memorable as it relate to one of the most heartbreaking moment and scene throughout this whole drama. It was the perfect closure to the character of Hun Sung and perfectly relates the emotions and feelings from the relationships between Hun Sung and his brother to his grandfather and the Hwarangs.
Chemistry wise, I loved the interaction of the 2 main leads in their enmity and developed friendship roles. Also that of the 2 rivals Soo Ho & Ban Ryul their back & forth banter was just icing on the cake. Even that of Yeo Wool & Hun Sung as pretty and relax characters to add comical entertainment fillers. As for the love triangle sub plot between the 2 main male lead and the female lead felt a bit forced. Not really feeling anything there and seems to become annoying (maybe its just me).
Reviewers Ekteneia and MiraiArtx pretty much sums up what I was thinking while watching this drama in their review concerning most if not all of the main points. Aside from what I added to the top. These 2 reviewers were spot on with their reviews.
No, JSY was wooden, no matter what she was doing. That's how she is in every drama. Also, you can refrain from…
I'm dying here reading your review and then coming to read on your response....I'm barely starting the drama only getting to the ending of the 3rd episode and I'm pulling hairs left and right....I had to come back to look at the top reviews to figure out if this drama is worth the investment. But coming across your review got me ROFL because I'm getting super frustrated with the direction I'm seeing the series is heading and just like that you've pointed out where, why, how this drama messed up
Although I was recommended this drama from watching an OST Bromance between Jong Suk and Gyun Sang. I was shock to see another Kdrama fav in this project PSH. This drama includes 2 of my favorite kdrama actors Jong Suk & Yoon Gyun Sang and my all time female lead kdrama actress Park Shin Hye. That being said I was looking forward to seeing all of them.
I may be a bit bias here but I think that Jong Suk was made for bromance and boy love story arch. I'm almost done with this drama Pinocchio where the female lead is one of my favorite kdrama actress (Park Shin Hye) but I just can't seem to feel the romance between Jong Suk and Shin Hye. I'm more interested in the bromance plot between Jong Suk and Yoon Gyun Sang (Park Shin Hye and Yoon Gyun Sang were my all time fave after watching DOCTORS).
I just finished Jong Suk other drama School 2013 a few days ago and was so wrapped up in his role and bromance with Woo Bin. This guy really knows how to immerse himself in such roles and bring the character to life.
Anyhow, this drama started out strong and kept the momentum rolling. Even more they played out safe to keeping the romance flares of the 2 main leads to a minimum as not to overshadow other story plots that needed more focus. I like how there was more to the plot other than focusing on the romance. I'm down to episode 13 and its getting a bit of a drag, not sure if this is purposely done to build up to another intense climax after most and all the interesting secrets were revealed. But as far as I can tell its becoming a bit far fetch. So I'm crossing my fingers to hold out that they wont screw up the last episodes from here.
I've just started watching episode 1 and already I'm fuming with the mockery this damn series is hinting towards…
I finished this series a few days ago and went back and rewatched it all over again because of how intense it was. Although it showed some really ugly side to the reality of bullying it also showed a lot of unseen realities of how students and adults strive through to make it.
Although at most cases in Kdrama's they lack to sell a really good romance of equal pairing of leads in male/female, I'll happily agree that Kdrama's sure do know how to sell a great bromance story plot line. The Kdrama's that I have watched have really interesting and well thought out bromance plot whether a female romance story arch is involved or not (in most cases there is). But I'm totally sold on the ability of Kdramas to bring about interesting story plot lines and saving a series from ultimate devastation by shifting focus and emphasis towards a bromance story arch.
Here in this series the bromance between friends and enemies was super intense to the point that I was literally skipping through all the other story arch and plot scenes. Plots between the 2 friends turn enemies turn friends was quite severe in development. A lot of emotions and pain and tears and sorrow. The plot between the 3 best friends showed the close relationship of these 3 boys to go a long way for each other. Shifting focus to a feuding relationship of 2 boys vs 3 boys from feuding enemies to some what uneasy friendship was a great approach.
Anyhow I honestly believe that actors Woo Bin and Jung Suk were great in their roles. Jung Wook and his friends were super awesome in their relationship. The 2 teachers really impacted the students in different ways.
