Happy ending is not the point. we know by this point GMMTV will never make bad ending. All we want is plot to be plotting and give the priority than romance and follow the vision they showed us in the mock trailer which was more thriller serious and mature. Manner of death , Triage and spare me your mercy are good examples

The reason for the current changes is because of the popularity of RL even though it didn’t air officially in China, it caused a lot of heat that even normal standardised heterosexual drama couldn’t achieve.
