Hahaha i just realise it lol. Glad this season loved by many but sad there is no re-make of all the main books…
I am fairly new to this fandom and I am watching all the series out of order so probably missing some details and also didn’t read the books so I may sound ignorant on some points.
I have finished watching reunion s1. I have to say out of all the lost tomb series Reunion looks very expensive and very pleasing to the eye but unnecessary romance, Xiao Bai, lack of bromance is lowering my excitement! Also lack of Iron triangle! I don’t get it why it’s called reunion when we hardly get to see our trio together. Even with the lack of bromance between Wu Xie and XIaoge in s1 I enjoyed the first half because the plot was interesting and Fatty and Wu Xie moments were so good but I skimmed through Mr.Black’s scenes even though he is one of my favorite characters but in the Reunion, Mr. Black didn’t have the same charisma or funny bone as UN. I was so excited for his arc in reunion only to be disappointed. “Sigh”
And after episode 20 even fatty disappeared to have his heart romance leaving Wu Xie in warehouse 11 which plot was very not intriguing to me at all. I literally skimmed through the last 12 episodes. I was let down by the s1 of reunion. I haven’t read the books so I don’t know how different it is from the live-action.
I did my share of googling and it seems Wu Xie and Xiaoge’s pairing is very famous for a very long time and all the buildup the previous series did to their relationship has become non-existence in reunion! Why all of the sudden our duo feels like distant classmates rather than other halves of each other because that’s what I felt from the previous series! UN did an amazing job in casting, plot writing, relationship development, and production. Lacking in the editing department but not that bad I can ignore them. UN feels like a fanfic adaptation we all deserve. UN deserves all the praise. You can feel they gave importance to audience preference but also to the plotline and also probably kept true essences of the book?
In my opinion, Xiao Yu Liang is the most suited and best Xiaoge we have. No one can deny that. If someone denies it I will judge them hard. If I have to rank all the Xiaoge’s

Why all of the sudden the author dislikes Xiao Yu Liang. Did the actor do something to him?? Offended him in any way? Even the mention of Zhang Qi Ling he bans people?!?! Isn’t Zhang Qi Ling his own creation! WTF!!
Okay fine I accept the fact that he loves money and I am sure he knows how to make more money yet he made the reunion series this way?! Is he dumb? It’s not a secret that bromance and sisromance(?) generates more traffic hence more money yet he completely butchered Wu Xie’s and Xiaoge’s relationship in reunion. I have very less interest in watching reunion s2 not only because of lack of our duo’s bromance but I also heard it’s mainly about the new characters and Iron triangle takes a backseat in very long bus.
I decided to enter this fandom because of the Iron Triangle, HeiHua, and Pingxie. If they are not the main then sorry my level of enthusiasm will be very low.
Can you kindly tell me why they keep changing actors? I keep hearing that due to actors' other works they can’t continue? And if it’s true why not make the actors sign a contract to do the whole series like west does?

then why doesn't Zhang Ri Shan loses his memories like our Xiaoge? Isn't losing memory after a few years is a side effect of immortality? or I missed something?
Yes from what clips I saw from twitter none of the other lost tombs has this much bromance tension like UN has. I have become such a huge fan of Mr. Black and Hua my god they are power CP! and that is why it saddens me to see Mr. Black's romance in reunion. It's boring and chemistry is also lacking! They should have gone to the bromance route or no romance at all imo!
I don't know why I laughed when in one of the last episode of UN when they played a sad love song as both Wu Xie and Hua was mopping after what happened to Xiaoge and Mr. Black. I know it's sad but I just found it very funny and I feel bad for laughing! These four legit feels like a couple!
Excessively crazy! All the others getting subbed except for the shows I am dying to see! I am watching the reunion and yes it's good but it has lot of unnecessary romance and I hardly see our Xiaoge and the bromance of our Xiaoge and Wu Xie is non existence T_T

I keep seeing clips from episode 32 to 36 on Twitter and all the time Wu Xie, like an adorable baby, keeps complaining to Hua that if fatty was here, he would have been very gentle with me, or if xiaoge was here he would have done it for me and yad yada omg!! And the way he said that he is born lucky to be loved by everyone made me laugh so freaking hard hahaha. Wu Xie is indeed lucky that he is an adorable baby and has some working brain cells or else he would have been very annoying lol.
