The approach CM directors and screenwriters took are actually more effective way to make conservatives ,especially young conservatives, understand or at least get them thinking about the minorities . In Asia many people consider homosexuals as perverts so showing the physical aspect at least for now will make those narrow minded people feel that they are right. So the best way is to do it emotional way...maybe in next few years this will not be the case but for now it's important that you showcase that there is no difference between how straight people fall in love and how same-gender people fall in love. You just fall in love with people for who they are rather than their gender or to have sex. For Asians, emotional approach is the best. The poster is so unappealing and does no justic to our cutie pie Adachi and Kurosawa looks so freaking young but it does give the office romance vibe rather than student-teacher. I hope they change the poster. The 2nd poster is even more unappealing. Alao the trailer was also not that impressive to me. But having watching j-drama for a long time I know they don't care that much about posters and trailers unless it's a movie and that is why it didn't put me off.
