One of my favorite scenes from episode 18 is when Su Yu was alone in the middle of the night and it was raining heavily, but the moment he called Wu Bi and heard his voice, he instantly felt better, even when he was shivering, he was content and his heart was at ease again just because he was listening to the Wu Bi’s voice. After reading Wu Bi's note buried under that tree Su Yu has become expressive about his feelings to Wu Bi. We see Su Yu without a second's hesitation, he directly told Wu Bi "I just want to talk to you" I believe that at that moment, talking and hearing Wu Bi's voice was his greatest source of courage to endure the humiliation and suffering that asshole of an uncle was subjecting him to.
But when the phone stopped working we could see how quickly Su Yu became so so anxious again and he looked so panicked as if someone has taken away his only safety blanket that was keeping the cold and hunger at bay and he was all alone again, freezing.
The show, even with its limitation to showing full-blown romance between the boys, does a fantastic job of showcasing how much adoration and care Su Yu feels for Wu Bi.
its that nonsense music making the dance so cringe especially when we all know its the choreography of trouble maker 🤣but it made me laugh so much! I honestly loved it regardless of how cringe it was
He will be angry/scared for 10 sec and hug him afterward and we will have the lovely watch scene
I think he will be more angry at his uncle for making Su Yu suffer and also knowing his mother’s incident was not actually an accident he will be devastated.
Tomorrow’s eps are going to be intense as hell! I wonder if Wu Bi will get angry for Suyu to do this much for him without asking him? I just hope these last couple of episodes boys don’t argue with each other…I wanna see them happy and healthy and always with each other 🥲
Su Yu spend a 2days under scorching sun, didn’t get to to drink clean water or eat or even rest on a comfortable place. He literally drank water from the fountain and was pushed into it by that stupid guard and on top of that he had to sleep under rain for the whole night and repeat the same routine next day.If this isn’t love than I don’t know what is! These two don’t need to do physical intimacy to show the love they have each for each other is more than any bromance that many people insists on still!
Ep 17 and 18 gave us much information about Suyu's mother and Wu Bi's parents. This series did a fantastic job of developing the parent's storyline. They made me change my perspective of Suyu's mother in ep 17. All is not as it seems. I can't go into details but in these two episodes, I felt for her. How she selfishly abandoned Suyu for her "better life" I am still angry about it but I am glad she was not selfish enough to harm others. You know a show is gold when they can flip your mind about a certain character with good story development.
These two episodes' tone was different than the rest of the episodes it felt heavy and had a suspenseful atmosphere regarding what actually happened to Wu Bi's mother. We are entering a danger zone with Wu Bi's family and its building up to that one scene we don't want to watch 😢
