You're an older person than me and I respect your opinion but the victim isn't the one that should go and ask…
I'm not gonna argue whether he did it or not. Whether there is enough proof of something or not. I'm not gonna argue about bullying in a school system in a country I was not born or raised in. But the argument of "Why wait? Why come forward now?" is so aggravating. It just sounds like every other old gross man downplaying serious allegations. It makes perfect sense if someone waits a long time before talking about their trauma. It's extremely hard to talk about it while it's happening and even harder to bring it up after it has stopped. I understand completely why the victim would have brought it up now since bullying is a really big topic in Korea recently and that could have given them courage. And also: "There are many forms of sexual assault, doesn't mean rape." That's seriously messed up. I'm glad you have your own clearly defined meaning of rape and sexual assault that you can gate keep and trivialize other peoples trauma. You say you are 50 years old and you have survived way more than any of this insignificant trauma. It's sad seeing that you've lived so long and still can't realize that what you said was gross, messed up and backwards. If you care enough to defend a grown man that you don't know at all then you should have enough empathy for the victims that you also don't know.

Title She Would Never Know Spoiler
i felt so bad for the FL, not only finding out about her shitty bf but in such a humiliating way! ML was so weirdly…
YES!! Exactly my thoughts. I was really hoping that his character would reform but it looks like they're just gonna breeze past his behavior. Maybe it's because I'm watching Run On right now that I'm realizing how so many MLs are toxic lol.

Title She Would Never Know Spoiler
After I've watched the first two episodes I need to rant. I really like Won Jin Ah so I was excited to watch her new drama that had such a cool poster and one of my favorite tropes of older woman / younger man. The drama, however, is not what I expected it to be at all. Not to mention that I really can not stand the ML. At first I really loved him. He seemed like a cute character with a boyish charm that I was excited to watch, but then at the end of the first episode he began to show some forceful and annoying characteristics. I understand that it can be hard to tell someone that their partner is cheating on them, so I can forgive him for waiting a month. But the way he told her about it was so infuriating. He set the encounter up like a villain, scheming a plan for her to find out that her partner of two years was actually engaged to another girl. He came across this information so he had an obligation to let her know, but he got too involved when it wasn't his place. I believe it's morally right to tell the other person what you saw and heard and not make any big accusations or tell the other person how to feel about it. As it is not your place. But the ML totally overstepped every boundary there was and told her in the worst way possible and even had the audacity to call her a fool. It's none of his business how she handles the news of a cheating partner, even if he likes her. He had no right to set up the encounter like that. The only thing he had the right to do was tell her what he saw and then leave the topic alone because it's her business and not his. I can't get over how he handled this whole situation and I can't even believe he was selfish enough to offer up a relationship to save face at the end of the episode. I can not stand the ML and I will seriously be considering dropping this. You don't have to feel the same way I do about this and I certainly don't want to force anyone to feel the same either. I just needed to rant. To see if anyone would relate to my frustration with the ML's character and actions. (I have no hate for the cast, as I personally love Won Jin Ah and am a fan of Ro Woon. All my hate is for the ML's character lol.)

Title Love Is Sweet Spoiler
I am heavily considering dropping the drama after the first episode because of the male leads character. I can't deal with how he rejected the female leads interview for personal reasons when she is a grown adult that can make her own decision about where she wants to work. And how he treated her toward the end of the first episode. (was not a fan of the accidental kiss trope either) Can anyone tell me if he starts to treat her better soon after the first episode or if I should just drop the drama and not waste my time? Thank you!! (also i don't care for any redemption arcs where they pull it off as he was just worried for her that's why he was being a jerk. so if theres any of that please let me know as well.)

You know I was trying to figure out why the Piano ost to this Drama sounded soooo familiar & Now THANKS to your…
I'm so glad you feel the same. It was driving me bonkers every time I heard the piece because it was so familiar but I couldn't figure it out. I actually had to go through and listen to my playlist for piano music and thankfully I found the one that I was thinking of. It puts my mind at ease to know that we went through the same thing lol.

Is it just me or does the piano ost for this drama (can be heard in episode 3 from around 1:01:45 to 1:03:00) sound very similar to "For The Love Of A Princess" from Braveheart? Am I crazy? Could it actually be the same ost from Braveheart? Unlikely, but I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same. I don't think the two are exactly the same but they definitely sound similar.

Really great article but I thought I should clarify something. You said: "Also, in some ways having a similar name to his brother might be a sweet move, but on the other hand, it kinda makes it seem like his mom only had Moon Sang Tae on her mind." I think that's an interesting way to interpret it and maybe I'm just misunderstanding that you don't know about this but a lot of the time in Korea the parents name their kids to have similar names. For this example: Kang Tae and Sang Tae. The mom kept the Tae but changed the first part of the name. Kang and Sang are their personal names and Tae is their shared generational name. I'll link some videos to hopefully explain it better than I can.

But again. Great article. I also love this show soooo much. The styling For Seo Ye Ji is absolutely stunning.

I think mydramalist needs something that lets you put in how many times you rewatched a tv show. I'm pretty sure…
If you click on the blue rectangle underneath "buy on amazon" and go to the "advanced" tab on the left, an option to put how many times you've rewatched it is there. Hope this helps!
