Its a serious drama but its also hilarious at parts. But the humor is such that you will find yourself crying as well because the girls troubles are so relatable if you are 20 - 30ish. Grounded drama, no fantasy but it has sunshine moments too, just like real life.

My favorite actress in this show is Jenny Zhang Jia Ni. Wuhuan's development is probably the most interesting.
I felt the show became much better once Wuhuan was the main villain. The Snow Goddess and Devil God were pretty boring villains but Heavenly Goddess Wuhuan was so deliciously evil that I just loved watching her do terrible things. Hahaha
