Ya there is. You should watch it. And I highly recommend that you also read the book. You will appreciate the story more if you know the real story line.
So I created a new account here (cause I have forgotten the old one) just to express my thoughts on the series.
I have read the entire series and have watched the anime so all I can say is that, they indeed made a huge change on the plot but for me they still stick on what was the book is all about. My idea may be a bit confusing but just bear with me because that is what I think. The story is not the same but it has still the taste of Mo Dao Zu Shi. The story is there that is why I still like it. The actors actually are not disappointing, they are great, the visuals are good, I just laugh a bit on the part when they said a night hunt though it is obviously day but just never mind about it. So let us go to the bromance thingy. So I read the book because I am a huge fujoshi. It may be sad to hear that most of the BL part are removed and I understand it because I know they are doing it for the goodness of the show but the bromance for me is still good. Like if you have read the book you will always look out for the bl moments which is what I am waiting for (because I am still hoping). So yah, the series is doing good. I hope it won't dispappoint me as it continues. And yah, about Wen Ning, he looks creepy which is somehow good because he is meant to be like that lol.
