The reason why this movie existed is because of Yuki Yamada. From what I remembered, the film's writer stated…
Yuki Yamada was able to appear in Zyuohger and he was getting popular that time. Basically, man is loyal to his crew.

It's a bit surprising that Toei is able to bring Yamada Yuki back. God bless his agency.

In his role in Kamen Rider Drive: Surprise Future, he played the role of the son of the main protagonist of the series. The character you are seeing in that gif is the evil clone of said son. Seriously, Kamen Rider is fun to watch.

Watching his role in Kamen Rider made me like, "this guy is really versatile, bet he can play Kenshin Himura in the future." Turns out he did. I mean, his character in the show made him play 5-6 different characters and each character has its own quirks and ticks that he made that guy playing in the suit can't sometimes keep up. Seeing him in other roles post Kamen Rider puts a smile to my face so seeing him back in the latest Kamen Rider movie for the Heisei Series' 20th commemorative project made me smile. Best way to describe it to non-fans, especially if you watched the MCU for a long time is when a character you never expect to make a cameo made a cameo.

I might just have to break my Kamen Rider virginity to watch him in that role haha. It'd be interesting to see…
Kamen Rider in its very core is a story about a hero who used the powers created from evil to do good. Kamen Rider is usually aimed at older kids, which is why show can get away with a lot of darker themes while getting away at being goofy at the same time. Seriously, Philip's entire back story was really screwed up, especially if you compare it to a story arc from a typical kid's show. The closest Western equivalent that I can think of with Kamen Rider, especially if it is really, really good is the MCU.

Just love that in the latest Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Zi-O, they poked fun at the fact that the reason why Sota Fukushi and Ryo Yoshizawa can't make a guest appearance in the series was because both of them are busy filming Bleach. Zi-O is an anniversary series that features all past Kamen Riders in some shape or form. They were able to pull of Fukushi's cameo is by showing a body double's back.

Seriously, get into Kamen Rider. A lot of popular actors got their start in that franchise and as the series went on, you see them grow from inexperienced actors to someone you can see as the next big thing.

I love them now. Discovered them not that long ago. The shows are great but a lot don't have less than 115 episodes.…
If you are living outside of the Philippines, you can watch some of them on TFC Now. If you have a VPN, set it to Philippines since Netflix Philippines has a lot of Filipino stuff.

Not a big fan of love teams since I pretty much had a fill of a lot of those growing up, but yeah, these are really great picks. She's Dating a Gangster was a surprise for me, watched it on a whim because it was on TV thinking that this is your usual love team flair, then the twist at the end of the movie made my heart melt.

The movie is actually a stealth CharDon movie. Richard Gutierrez and Dawn Zulueta was a popular love team during their time and it being the twist ending just re-contextualized the entire movie.
