It was very confusing and hard to follow at times especially at the latter half of the movie, on the other hand the first half is a bit boring . The acting is great though and the car chasing scenes are awesome. Overall it's good but nothing spectacular.

I totally agree. I love how they made absolutely every character memorable. They all had their own moment to shine and it's awesome. It was a super exciting drama, even fighting scenes were very well done which is a rarity among K-dramas.
It's one of the biggest hipster movies in existence. I withstood only an hour of it but I want some of that weed that the director was smoking while doing this movie.
He is sooooooooooooo charismatic it's unreal! Lots of Korean actors tend to be rather boring outside of their work but not NGM. You can watch anything he's in and he'll be entertaining as hell! I'm fangirling so hard whenever I see him lol.

This is super old, but I just wanted to say that I agree with you 100%. Like you took my words from my mouth haha. I am too annoyed that Koreans push the romance everywhere and in most times it's not even great but badly written and cheesy as hell.
To be honest it is not a masterpiece in the slightest but it's still an enjoyable movie. It would have been nothing special if it wasn't for the main leads, I sincerely doubt that it would have gotten such a high score. But when you add two crazy hot and charismatic young actors - miracles can happen XD. Really they are such eye candies that even if the whole movie was about them just running on and out of that mountain the result score would have been the same lol.
It is an okay drama, surely not 8,5 though. The main attraction here is the robot, he is a very likeable dude that you too would want to protect lol. Seo Kang Joon is definitely a talented actor, I was really impressed by him. As for the rest - its kinda meh. The story is not that great, I was left with an impression that it really didn't reach its full potential. I also hated the ending, it felt very forceful and banal. Watch it if you like the main actor - he really shines here.
I watched it because of my fav Nam Goong Min. As other users have already pointed out the latter half is dragged out and not very good. It is super awkward to watch - suddenly all the fun and charm of the first half is thrown out of the window, it becomes dull and kinda stupid to be honest, the ending is incredibly dumb as well. It feels like it was written by two people who never interacted with each other, im surprised it wasn't lol. It is not worth watching to be honest unless you are big fan of Nam Goong Min (he is great as always).
I watched it in 1,5 days, in my eyes it is almost perfect. It has the best length, it never drags, every episode ends with a cliffhanger where you just absolutely want to know what will happen next. Even the ending was nice although kinda short. Plus it gets points for being an original sci-fi story without any annoying romance to beat you over the head. In my opinion this is a surely an underrated gem.
This drama was very good and funny til the middle of it. After that point it becomes just another boring melodrama with a stupid love triangle. There were still some funny moments but their impact was totally lost since they were not the main focus anymore. The female protagonist is just horrendous, another walking K-drama cliche. If you are tired of this unbelievable heresy where two incredibly hot and nice guys (with one of them being super rich) fight for a poor naive clumsy girl with no personality at all, I recommend to watch til episode 10 or so and then drop it. The comedy bits are not enough to save the latter half from sliding into this melodramatic bullshit.
Oh lord please let our lovable main secretary be the good guy, I can't imagine him being for the bad guys, pleeeeaaaaase!! You can't do this to me, he is my favourite character! T___T
Watch it if you like the main actor - he really shines here.
