Contains some Spoilers **.Nope, Didn’t like it even a bit. The storyline was amazing, the acting , everything…
I cried through the last episodes and my heart was shattered to pieces... Still I love signal so much, even though it doesn't have a standard happy ending, but I think it is for the better, not an ordinary kdrama with rainbows and unicorns.
I'm having a hard time getting through this show with how cowardly/corrupt the main characters are except for…
I understand what you're talking about, they do get better, I remember I was very frustrated with them too, but their behaviour will be explained later. The latter half of the drama is much much better than the first.
I don't know how long you've been on this site, but just want to share a little tip with you. Having been on MDL…
Thanks for the recommendation but I don't think I'd like them. Both male leads kinda annoy me even though I know that they are extremely popular actors right now
That was a great ride, I enjoyed almost every single episode. I believe that the characters are the strongest part of this drama, it was very easy to sympathize with them, as I already mentioned earlier the interactions between the President and secretary Cha are really good, their bromance is everything. President Park... I am so impressed with his character, right from the beginning til the very end he is just the MAN you really want to succeed. I'm sad that the politicians like him do not exist in reality.
I honestly disagree with you, yes the reason that this movie got more attention was because of the leads, but…
I guess you could say this about the story, but the chemistry you mentioned maybe wouldn't have been so strong if it wasn't for the main actors. I believe their talent is what made the characters really shine since they are not exactly super original or anything. So I'd still say that lead duo is the main reason for this film's success.

Wow thank you for your comment. I'm not asian and I'm not a westerner either, I'm russian so I'm somewhat in between. Got into K-world just recently this year, but starting to figure out which kind of dramas I should avoid, what are my no-go's and so on. Like I avoid almost all romance K-dramas like a plague because to me it is unbearably cheesy and cringy and unbelievable, more like a fanfic. And yes that is exactly what korean audience prefers it seems, so for me it is unfortunate kinda haha. Still, since I managed to find real diamonds like Signal and Duel among the thriller genre I did not give up on K-dramas. Your suggestion to rely on individual ratings of those with similar tastes to mine is a good one, thank you. Definitely it is more useful than to simply rely on the overall MDL rating cause of the reasons you listed.
This is so great! I'm in love with this drama!!! Oh how I love bromance between President Park and secretary Cha, I almost cried at the last scene *___*
It is so dark that I felt like my very soul was being sucked out of my body lol. Really sometimes it was unnecessary cruel and disturbing. I wanted to drop it midway because it is so hard to watch but managed to finish it somehow. I think it would have been much better if it was around 12 episodes or so, it tends to drag a bit. Still it is worth a watch if you are into strange and disturbing with almost every character being the Satan where you just wanna kick them in the balls a couple thousand times.
It's a very interesting and thrilling film. I tend to get bored and distracted very easily but this one surely grabbed my full attention til the very end. The two leads are incredible.
