When I watch a drama in any language, I prefer to see the heroine played by the same actress especially in a romantic fantasy like this one. I hate to see face- switching, especially after several episodes. Still, I choose to keep an open mind and see how part 2 turns out. Hope the chemistry between the main leads won't be disappointing 'coz for the moment, whenever I think of Naksu, all that comes to my mind is the face of the actress currently portraying this role. Personally, I prefer to watch dramas where everything is wrapped up in one season with several episodes (extending upto 30 , 40 or 60). That way, I won't feel like I'm kept in suspense forever while waiting to watch part 2 /season 2.
Before I watched some episodes of this drama, I used to re-watch it's very first trailer several times released in 2017 or 2018. I liked the soundtracks played as well as the fantasy elements shown in that particular trailer. But when I watched the drama I never got to see those fantastic elements and those beautiful pop- song -style soundtracks. I used to think this was fantasy wuxia. Turns out this was just wuxia. I'm quite disappointed. Can someone tell whether those beautiful pop-songs-style soundtracks were part of the drama too before those got deleted or omitted?
This drama feels different from the usual fantasy costume Korean dramas. Episode 8 made me convinced of that. The scenes featuring "naksu cloth" and the scenes focusing on the romantic moment between Songrim's leader and Maidservant Kim was really, really amusing as well as interesting.😀😌
I guess the airing of this series is going to be delayed as they will have to reexamine all the costumes used…
I really don't understand what's the problem in borrowing good aspects of various cultures for a drama or movie. Afterall, isn't this fantasy fiction? Don't most Asians dress in western outfits these days (which is also not part of their original culture, btw).
Hope the air date will be at least in the beginning of August, and won't be postponed beyond that.
Can someone tell what happened between Jang Uk and the blind girl(the real Mudeoki) in episode 8 when his soul stayed suspended while alchemy of souls was in progress?
The way episode 6 preview was shown in episode 5, it seems Mu Deok will make decisions which might make the story more complex. I hope her decision to not stay as a maid of Jang Uk won't lead to a rift or long term separation between the master and her pupil. I keep hoping this is a happy ending for the two.
The interaction between Mu Deok and the crown prince is making me worried 'coz I saw some chemistry there. He even helped her, and even he doesn't treat her like a typical maid. It's best for Jang Uk if he makes up his mind to help her as soon as possible.

Hope the costumes will continue to look beautiful in the post edit phase....
Hope this doesn't happen for this drama, but then, one never knows...😔
Are there any Japanese style costumes in this drama?
Being too sensitive about cultural aspects will only make things more complicated for everyone involved.

Will this be released like an anime movie?
Is it 100% confirmed?
This is too much!
I do agree with you.
Looks like there'll be lot of intense stuff, especially action, coming up.
I must watch!
