I liked the clip in one of the trailers where the demon king was shown with his hair left open. The hair was chocolate brown. It made the actor look more handsome. Actually, I expected the demon king to look like that all the time --- the wild, untamed look. The actor also looks good in that hairstyle minus the headpiece & combed hair look.
I wish the director had chosen to portray the demon king with such a look all the time. It will match more with the physical description of that character in the novel.
Anyway, despite all this, quite enjoyed watching all the episodes released so far. It was quite enjoyable. Looking forward to watching more!
Can someone tell me why was Yingyuan declared dead even though his mortal form is still alive? Also, I want to know why did Yandan's merman friend declare Yingyuan dead even though he knows his mortal form is alive?
That's a beautiful interpretation, but if he wanted he could've kept their love a secret meanwhile finding ways…
🙂 I hope after his mortal experience, Yingyuan will find a way to be together with Yandan. I don't want him to blindly listen to the supreme lord all the time.
I also have a feeling that the supreme lord is hiding something from Yingyuan.
Rewatching episode 15 where she crosses the river and their conversations gives me Journey of the Flower vibes.…
That's a beautiful interpretation, but if he wanted he could've kept their love a secret meanwhile finding ways to reconcile his duties, responsibilities with his personal desires 'coz he is always good at strategizing. He should've confided in her and both of them could've found out solutions to their love problem. Afterall, Yandan is resourceful too.
The problem was their past selves are too obsessed with virtues. While Yingyuan was determined to be dutiful for the peace of the world, Yandan was determined to be selfless to protect her sister. Maybe, his new self and her new self will find ways to make themselves and the world find happiness and inner peace. I would like to see their new selves be selfish enough to find ways to reconcile their desires, passions, and duties, responsibilities so that they can live the life they truly want. Maybe the drama poster hints that they might succeed in achieving this.

Eve though most people hate listening to the baby voice of the FL, I adore the baby voice of the FD.
Also, I want to know why did Yandan's merman friend declare Yingyuan dead even though he knows his mortal form is alive?
I didn't know that...
Earlier I think there was release of 2 episodes on Thursdays...
Why the change?

No problem.
I don't have time to read the novel.
