what is this about?
The story in the novel is a love story between a lazy, ordinary powerless female mortal, and a handsome, immensely powerful , ruthless, villainous male immortal.
Their love lasts three lifetimes, and the identities of both male and female leads of this story undergo changes.
From an immortal sect member or leader, the male lead turns into a demon lord, and from that into an emperor of the humans, and from that into someone who is reaching a phase between a mortal and an immortal.
From a lazy, powerless, ordinary , hopeless mortal, the female lead turns into a powerful almost -immortal/immortal with a high cultivation base, and from that turns into a low-key, powerless, but capable, somewhat independent security guard of the demon realm, and from that into the most powerful demon lord (as powerful as the male lead when he was ruling as demon lord).
Their ending is happy and satisfying.
I just hope the drama production team will stick to the plotline.
Even if they introduce changes, I hope they do it in a way such that it does not take away the beauty of the original story in the novel.
I love everything in the novel --- almost all details--- especially the ones that focus on the interaction between the two main leads.

Anyway, what all I mentioned here is just the gist of the novel.

Well according to the novel - the deed - no. However, in the novel that particular scene was much more explicit…
Does the novel present a happy ending?

hello, did you finish it? wanted to know if it's a HE?
I think they meet again in modern times.
But in ancient world setting, they both pass away.
Can't give an accurate description 'coz there are no subtitles yet.
