So now I understood why the silver haired boy always remained a boy these many years... But why did he always choose to renew his memories? He said he did that because he was practicing some sutra... What was that sutra for?
I wonder what Shangguan Qian would do when she finds out that Gong ShangJue took the blueprint from her? 🤣 I quite liked the fact that Gong ShangJue outsmarted her. At least, love didn't turn his brain cells into mush. Otherwise, he would've ended up dead long back because of his trust in her so called "love" & "his baby" story...
Finished watching all 24 episodes! It's a beautiful drama. I was just dissatisfied with three things: 1) the death of female lead's raven: this wasn't necessary. They should've made him live --- not killed that character. I especially koved the dialogue, "You are the Yun Weishan in my heart! " Omg that monologue is it's so deep!
2) the death of lady Wuji: really not necessary. They could at least written a more merciful death scene for her(if the director wants a death scene for her that much!)
3) the ending: everything in episode 24 was being perfectly wrapped up. They even showed how the villianous elder brother ended up. They could've just wrapped up the ending nicely instead of producing a fresh mystery to solve. Thankfully, Yun Weishan told Gong Ziyu that she has a twin before leaving... So that's some relief. Even if as some viewers say, if it's her twin who takes her place, he'll find out if something is amiss( considering the point that he's observant & smart). Still, in my opinion, the whole story could've been wrapped up, sealed and ended in this season 1 itself. Why kill viewers like me with anticipation?
But if I overlook the three points I specified above, everything about this drama is good & unique. This drama really stands out as a good drama but with an unsatisfactory ending.
I love the way the female lead made her entrance in the bride scene in ep 22. This is one of the few scenes in the dramaworld where I find the way a female lead protects her main male lead as very attractive and glamorous 😍 And the bgm played in the backdrop enhanced this effect.

I'm upset she died that way, but I don't think it was Ziyu's fault. She was miserable and suffering. Seemed there…
Yes, death will definitely put someone in her situation out of her misery, but it was a sad, pitiful death. What's worse is she suffered alone in her dying moments. Ziyu called her 'mother' . When he went to his room, he saw the candy she made for him. At least 'that deed' should've made Ziyu rush to her room and prevent them from executing her in such a cruel way. He could have just persuaded the elders or do whatever that's required by breaking the rules to put her under room arrest ir house arrest e.tc. He could have asked her to write out something on a paper. That itself showed she had something to say... Seems He's smart enough only to pass the trials and to rescue yun weishan.
I blame the writers for writing out such a scenario where they made Ziyu respond this way...
I suggest you to watch all the episode before cmt in here.. everything will explain later and for wuji there no…
Commenting section is for everyone to comment regardless of the fact that they watched the entire series or not. Moreover, I was commenting on what "I felt' (my emotions & my thoughts) after watching episode 20. Of course, I know Lady Wuji is a grey character, but I think some other punishment like banishment to some remote area of the residence or room arrest etc would have suited her better rather than being executed immediately.
And I disagree with your perception that there's no way to save lady Wuji. If course, she can be saved. The writers just chose to design her character's role with a dead end for her... I blame the storywriters for such a development in the plot.
I liked Zi Yu's idea of revealing the fact that fortnight flies isn't poison at all to the entire martial arts world.
If the female lead had accepted the male lead's idea instead of just repeating the same old thing, "wufeng won't stop etc" it would have made things a lot less complicated. In real life, in a similar scenario, the wise thing would be to let out the secret. This would save a lot of spies from unnecessary psychological stress...
It seems sometimes in this drama, the main male lead comes up with good ideas, but no one listens to him. 🤣
I liked their voices

I also choose to stick to my interpretations.
