Ok, this drama had lot of potential! The rest of the episodes also weren't bad. The main couple didn't disappoint me when it comes to their relationship... But the unfinished ending is making me have doubts about their ending. But there were two big problems for me: Problem 1): Gong ShangJue's love didn't turn deeper as I hoped... But can't fully blame him considering the circumstances, but still I wanted his love for Shangguan Qian to turn real deep... This was a bit of a letdown because the spice is lost... Problem 2): the ending The ending was completely unsatisfactory, incomplete. I think if they tied up all the loose ends satisfactorily, and gave a happy ending to all the important characters with a good heart, the last episode would have been perfect. The mystery could have been solved in the last episode or in one more episode. Now I will always keep thinking what will happen, what will happen... What did Gong Ziyu see? Etc. 😣😩
Damn, they better bring in 2nd season, what is this? This is not even an open ending😭nor happy ending nor sad…
Who are the twins? You mean Yun Weishan has a twin sister who looks like her? 🧐😳 What's going on here? What happens to shangguan Qian & Gong Shangjue? Do they split or kill each other or does Gong ShangJue fall for Shangguan Qian? What happens to the main couple?
I love the male version of the song, "Bestow Dreams" sung by their handsome raven (trainer) in episode 16. The composition is so soulful that it sounds good whether a man or a woman(with a reasonably goid voice) sings the song.
Anyone know where to download the full male version of the "Bestow Dreams" Song?
even empathetic people have their limits, he obviously felt betrayed and i dont think he was faking his anger,…
I commented that way because after his great display of love & heartbroken reaction in ep 16, I assumed that maybe even when he knows the truth about Yun Weishan, he may not react that way.
But of course, feeling angry at that moment is natural.
But I don't know why, personally I felt a bit disappointed to see him react that way (even though it's completely logical as you said)...
Maybe I felt disappointed because in the back of my mind, there was this thought that Gong Ziyu must have noticed all the subtle details about Yun Weishan which could have been pointers to the fact that there must be something fishy about her. I mean he is so smart, gifted and kind and forgiving, so I got disappointed to see such a reaction from him. That's all.
Technically he should Automatically killed Yun Wei Shan because she's a spy. At the moment, I think he's still…

I have no problem with age gaps as long as there's mutual consensus.

No way! Why? Why like this?
Is the main couple together & alive?

Thanks for your reply.
Ziyu's dialogues to his 'wife' were so so romantic & touching!
I'm glad he forgave her.
I'm dying of curiosity!
