I intepret the ending in the starry love as an anticipated happy ending. Anyway, there's theis scene that shows the flower being revived... So that obviously implies that chances for the revival of those twin sisters is high. I just didn't find the happy ending perfect enough because the twins were not shown in human forms with their memories intact. But at least, I didn't find the ending traumatic like in Till the End of the Moon. When it comes to Till the End of the Moon, I really liked the story in the novel with a happy ending a lot better.
I love the ending scene of episode 40! It was perfect. I just wish there were more dialogues (at least three/four) between the dragon king and Yanhui😍 But still, I find the ending so satisfactory compared to the ending I had to force myself to watch in Till the End of the Moon☺
Yes the emperor unlock his memories of past life. I think Yan Yue just pretending to kill Wei Zhi to awaken Wei…
Oh ok. Thanks for this detailed explanation. Then what about the swing scene? Had the wolf prince not stopped him, wouldn't Yanyue have ended up killing Wei Zhi?
Can someone explain to me what did the emperor do to Yan Uue's mind ? Did he unlock his memories of his past life? After that I saw YanYue fall unconscious, and after some time in the next scene, he was standing in front of Wei Zhi doing his best to kill her ... What wax he thinking? Why this sudden change in attitude? Didn't he say he couldn't bear to kill the Phoenix before this? And even if his memories were unsealed, shouldn't he stop repeating his mistakes of his past life? I mean, what really happened to YanYue. He isn't giving a proper explanation to anyone, even to his cousin when he is in the heavenly realm. How did Wei Zhi wake up again? Why did Yanyue not kill her mortal body, and only chose to take the flower(hua rong) away?
He was acting as if he got all brainwashed... I'm really puzzled. Can someone explain what exactly happened to Yan Yue and the reasons behind his killing intent in episode 17?

I feel bad for both of them
I just wish YanYue at least gave her a hint so that she wouldn't misunderstand him.

I guess I'll take it as they meet again...
Or was that a flashback scene?
