Here, Chaofeng was being resourceful and protecting himself at the same time allowing qingkui to follow her heart. Qingkui should start to see things from Chaofeng's perspective too. Then things will get less complicated.

We'll see about that. Maybe qingkui might end up saving both Chaofeng and Yetan. Anyway, I feel real bad for Chaofeng here. Chaofeng really truly loves Qingkui. That's why he took the risk to allow the opening of the apothecary for Qingkui's sake. He wants to see Qingkui happy even though this will invite the attention of even bigger enemies. Also, the void realm has always been barbaric and violent. Still, Chaofeng tries to balance everything as much as he can. Just because Chaofeng loves Qingkui, doesn't mean he should turn into a simp, and get himself killed or make his position weaker. Who will take care of him then? Just his mum and Haichao? In the void realm, only the strongest can live freely. Chaofeng does all bad things so that he can free himself from all unnecessary shackles. But there is goodness inside him otherwise he wouldn't choose to fall for his enemy (qingkui). He could have just used her adopting some other tactics. I don't want to see Fiery killed, but I love to see Chaofeng become powerful too...
After watching episode 15, I'm worried about Chaofeng. His life was never easy right from childhood because of the vamp stepmom. And he needs to get things done to secure his position as future crown prince of void realm, so that no one bullies him & his mom anymore, and also he can be powerful enough to live freely the way he wants. Now, qingkui is starting to keep secrets from him ( with good intentions), and Chaifeng keeping secrets from her. Looks like Chaofeng needs to explain to qingkui why he is bent on eliminating fiery. Hope they come up with a good solution!
Episodes 13 & 14 were a treat! I just couldn't stop smiling! Oh I just adore Wudai and Fiery! Chen Xing Xu really acted his part as the primitive fiery so well! Fiery is so cute, adorable & child-like. I just love him! And the third prince (even with shades of grey) is so swoonworthy. He never disappoints!
I felt heartbroken when empyrean Xuan Shang died. His soul-scattering departure scene was epic, intense! Felt really bad for Yetan too. Waiting for their reunion in the mortal world! And waiting to see empyrean Xuanshang open up about his feelings for Yetan in future! It's going to be interesting. As for the second couple, as usual , the third prince never disappoints!

This drama reminds me of the journey of flower drama. Chong Zi's shifu is not my type of favorite male character. Despite this, I admire the love story of Chong Zi & her Shifu. I hope this drama at least shows the main leads living together happily ever after unlike the happy ending in the journey of flower which was beautiful, but felt a bit incomplete to me... Looking forward to watching the finale episode. Hope that episode doesn't disappoint. This time hoping against hope to see a satisfactory happy ending for this kind of Shifu- discipline love story.
Episode 10 was totally mesmerizing! The best episode out of all episodes of this drama so far! (At least for me!) I absolutely loved the way the third prince took initiative to kiss Qingkui and I absolutely loved the way he expressed his love for her! While watching that scene, I was totally swept off my feet! And the heavenly realm scenes were engaging too! Luke Chen is so handsome, and the character he portrays ( the third prince's personality & self) is equally mesmerizing! I love this combination!
I love the fact that this xianxia drama has tons of humor. Most xianxia dramas don't include such good humorous scenes because even if there were any in other xianxia dramas, the humour always seemed forced & artificial to some extent... But not here. And to think that the third prince has a good sense of humour is pleasantly surprising & entertaining to watch!
