I think part 2 filming finished very quickly with the help of a new Team B (assistant) director, he was also involved in Big Mouth as the assistant director 😬 since I heard it's the same person, I got a bad feeling. I know I shouldn't blame the innocent without knowing the whole truth. So both directors are probably at fault.

Hi. It reminds me of what happened to Lee Jong Suk in Big Mouth final episode. It is Lee Jong Suk who is A-lister, hallyu star with great acting records who won Daesang already. A lot of viewers (not all) blamed him for not crying and showing emotions about his wife's death (Yoona character) in it. I still think it's not his fault, because we all know he can freaking act and have done incredible job in the whole show. We don't know what actually happened in behinds or filming. It's also possible the director left the better scenes for final cut. If he really made a mistake, the director had there to correct it, but didn't and let it go.
I also think the similar things happened to Jae Wook as well. The director didn't correct it if the actors really messed up. They could ask them for better takes, these actors gave much better performances already. So, we don't know the whole process.
This kind of thing could even happen to someone like Lee Jong Suk. Jae Wook is just a kid and green in his career. I don't blame both of them.

You don't like Ashes of Love? For me, it's one of my all-time favorite shows, I loved its plot, costumes, casts and everything about it.
And I care a lot about wardrobe. Actually I didn't even have higher expectations, I just wanted at least the same quality as Season 1.
Even in Season 1, there were some plotholes and dragged side plots.

I only complained about his clothes before because other shows (both c-dramas and k-dramas) I watched which they put all their money to ML's outfits. It's the total opposite which ML got the worst wardrobe quality compare to others. He had to wear the same outfit for a couple of episodes. It sucks 😔

It's k-drama logic; coz the number of k-drama viewers in general has more females than males. Rom-coms always use this formula. Hong sisters should initiate a new trend.

My point was not expessed well enough. This is not about the color. I understand the part 2 concept of him only in black. In comparison, Dylan Wang in LBFD has many well-made and high-quality outfits only in black.
That so-called personality is expressed in the certain color. I love it.
But what did we get here? Is it well-made? Quality? No. of outfits? I'm complaining about the quality and quantity of the clothes. Not the color and concept.

But you can't deny the frequency of changing outfits is too low here. Does the young master of powerful Jang Family only afford to wear total 3 outfits? It's too lame for me.

If you come from c-dramas, you would notice this looks so cheap.
The first outfit he wore from ep 1 to 5 is just simple plain one with no efforts in texture and patterns. It's meh. His other outfits are more or less the same. It's obvious they cut down the costs of his outfits, which his part 1 outfits are well-made in comparison.
I'm not talking about the colors, I got with the part 2 concept of wearing black and dark clothes. But they should've put more efforts in it.

I can't believe Uk only has 3 outfits in this whole season, lol. All his outfits are plain and look cheap as well.
I complained about it since it was airing and hoped at least they could bring him in more and better outfits. The wardrobe team messed up with him, where have all their budget gone? This looks like low-quality chinese costume dramas now.
Jae Wook deserves to wear much better outfits than this.
