The CGI and Special effects in this drama are really the best I've seen from chinese xianxia dramas. It looks like they spent big budget for CGI. The battle in Fu Yu Island with Tian Xu Hall in Ep 21 is so satisfying to watch.

Actually, it was mentioned quite a few times in the drama.
1st- No one (outsiders) can't know their real faces/ they can't close to someone who doesn't know his face
2nd- They want to hide their own purposes ( they actually have some hidden secret missions, different from other sects)
Cannot Fall in Love- I think it has some past history with this, no sure yet.
Since they're a sect with only male, they probably forbid females to enter and get close to the males.

All those sect Leaders are stupid. No wonder Tian Xu Hall is one step ahead of them.
