I’ve never cried so hard at a drama before, this was amazing. Every part of this story is gonna stay with me for a long time. A perfect 10 in my opinion
This is going up there with Sky Castle as one of the best dramas I've ever watched. I was hooked from beginning to end, the pacing was great, the story was fresh, and the plot twists were fantastic.
I usually hate time travel shows but this was something entirely new. They took a plot that was overdone and added so much flavor! The story was cliched to start, it felt like I was watching cartoon villains and the main actress felt unrealistic. But then, it totally flipped and became amazing. If you're dragging your feet through the 1st part, I'll say the reunion is when it starts to get really good so make it to that point at least.
It started off so good but I'm just not satisfied with the ending. Sohyun did a lot of heavy lifting with the main couple's chemistry. Second male lead wins once again, they were a more convincing couple and seo ji hoon was leagues ahead of minhyun in acting. There was also waaayy too many side characters in this drama. We wasted a lot of time with stories that went no where or could have been cut entirely. I found myself having such little empathy for eomji by the end, why did they make her so unlikable?? The drama should have spent more time in the past exploring eomji, deukchan, and doha's dynamic because that was the most interesting part of this entire drama. The loss of powers fakeout was un needed and the proposal was so forced. This drama had potential but I was left dissapointed.
Of course the plot twist was homophobia, love wins I guess! Don't get me wrong, I like the twist, it's just so backwards and much like Korea to make him a murderer right after that reveal. We already knew the foreshadowing of what happens to her powers so I've lost interest. I'm gonna call this drama a smooth 7/10 and leave it there.
Am I the only one that wants him to be guilty? I think it would be so cool if for once, they do the least expected thing. The answer seems so straight forward after this latest episode. I would give this drama a 10/10 if they make him guilty, otherwise the predictability will make it a 7 in my eyes because it's not a mystery if you reveal the actual culprit all the way at the end with no hints from the beginning.
Am I the only one that's team hyejin? She didn't do anything wrong these evil bastards made her leave her son and all she wants is to be with him. Hisoo said it herself that hiding the truth won't protect anyone. Hajoon wouldn't have been hurt had they told him the truth all along it's her fault for lying. Hyejin isn't being greedy, she was treated like crap for no reason and deserves better. I don't like hisoo. Why slap hyejin? Go slap your man.
