For me it is has become a shift in what network / service the drama is made for. If I'm watching a drama that is ONLY made for streaming ( like Netflix ) most of what I like about the dramas that pulled me towards kdramas isn't there. The Netflix exclusive dramas usually don't have the same good OST, those long shots of people looking at each other in slow motion in rain, the more goofy moments that just break all kinds of tension but still makes as laugh even though it is cringe.
There is just something about those tvN, JTBC, KBS and other dramas that the streaming dramas doesn't have, not sure why but that is how it feels.
I'm not the biggest fan of the directors previous drama, Voice 4, but that might also be that the writing wasn't all that good. Still, looking forward to this.
2 episodes in and so for it is really great, a tight script that has trimmed all the fat. Excellent cinematography and a great soundtrack. All I want now is the rest of the episodes!

Hahah this sounds so dumb! But I enjoyed the first movie and she is a great actress so I'll give this a chance.
