Ah shes only 17. So another drama where its not a strong romance. Why not someone older. I might just skip and wait for something else.

The ending. If it wasnt for the ending it couldve been rated higher. The rating it has now at 7.7 considering the ending and other things is fairly good. If it had a better ending I would say it woudlve been at least an 8 maybe 8.5.

Just finished watching it and had to fast forward after 20 episode mark. I loved her character at first but yeah she started to come off rude. Like I watched strong willed female characters before and its usually done good but idk at some point I kept thinking to myself like can she really say or do xyz.

I don't think chinese mythology has a Western god. i think its more so to show how it's not a particular group of people that's good or bad automatically but based on inner self. which is why any life can be good or bad dependent on their actions. its same for multiple cultures even outside east asia.

no. I only watched it to by time. not great but not completely bad. Just below average.

It's a film so 2 hours isn't enough to show their entire relationship but they do show the things he had to do to put money on the table for his family and what he had to endure. If he really was selfish, his brother wouldn't want him to worry or try to help him out with bills/food. He also could've left like his parents. I kept forgetting while watching but he was a teenager throughout the whole movie. He couldnt even go to jail again to gwt the teacher since he was a minor (juvie) and the teacher was an adult (jail/prison). The movie did show him beeing rude and not caring which was true and part of their relationship. But he also cared. The fact is he did care. He was going to go he just and to work so his brother and grandma can be taken cared of. He was panicking after hearing his brother through the phone. He cared but he was a teenager. I'm sure if it was a longer drama it would've shown the good and bad side. He kept saying that he died when his brother and eventually his grandmother died. He cared.

I felt confused about this also. The movie would've been better told as a short drama but it was too dark for multiple episodes.

ah yes. time traveling dramas killing it in 2024. the two dramas that took me out of my kdrama slup lovely runner and twinkling watermelon both were time travel. I'm loving it so far.

This drama definitely has rewatch potential. I can never wipe it 100% from my memory but plan on watching a few damas and coming back to this later.

I agree. this is going to be my first drama I ranked so low at 5. I normally give at least 7 if I finish it but no. It's only a 5 because of the acting otherwise straight 1. First half wasn't as bad and promising but then made no sense shortly after. Like the two male leads heavily carried, the dad and 2nd female lead did good. I ranked it a 5 because the story line was not cohesive at all. For this drama that's fair.
