Basically put...The production team shipped Gaoya CP a lot and it became as I heard the most popular cp in the shows history. But the CP was kinda fake and they broke up before broadcast of the show ended. Causing literal chaos in the fandom, it even led to the girl (Evelyn Weng Wingya) to be harshly cyberbullied for like a record time. Even though people had no say in one couples relationship, the break up caused people to feel betrayed and tricked. Basically the Production mislead the public indirectly wether they wanted it or not.

With the backlash in season 7, I hope the production team fixes their way of promoting couples.

This drama is so far a ML rechase story. The FL doesn't have feelings for any SML. Yes, they did "break up" because the Male Lead was set to study abroad. The description on Dramalist gives a good summary. But I have to add, FL lacks a bit of awareness in terms of distance with other male characters and communication. However, she only loves the ML. So the ML was coping with it until recent episodes where he showed his frustrations. A side note....I don't expect much from the kissing scenes, just imagine the characters are kissing lol

am I the only one having more questions than answer watching this drama? I don't blame any actors...just the production team. they for sure did not pull their weight.

That kiss was faked as well but it was done better than in this drama, I blame the production team.

It's my opinion, I don't mind not having any kiss, but if you are going to include a kiss in the story, use an actor who is willing to kiss. Faking a kiss is, yes, respectful of the actor's choice, but it also takes away from the supposed meaning of the scene in some way. You could have not written any kissing scene into this and I would be okay with that... All due respect to LHC, cause she is an actress I watch a lot. I just want to say that if she doesn't want to kiss, then don't write any kissing scene with her. I still like the drama, but it is a disappointment that needs to be said

I do understand the frustration. But I think theres more to this that we don't know and prob would never know. Them focusing the backlash on just Qingya kind of disgust me, and its only based on speculations. And as you stated, PengGao indirectly instigated this backlash but no one talks about it. I see some people tried to say it but got instantly cyberbullied upon.
Just my opinion, it was their choice to pay VIP for the show. No one forced them. I waited a bit, and got to see it free and even got to see the ending at the same time. I understand the feeling of cheated/betrayal but I still think blaming the couple for their own desicion is childish.

That is..... normal for dating shows I would say? Most couples won't really last except the clearly serious ones. Fun fact , Heart Signal CN series (expecially recent ones) are among one of the most successful dating shows, that why its the most popular in China.

They're so irrational imo. Like they are nickpicking every details to make speculations out of it and justify their opinions. And they make personal attacks/insult on ppl with different opinions. Most of these people are just insane
