She likes JC and wants to marry him. But her father Mistakenly thought she wanted to marry YF. So he went to emperor to beg him to grant a marriage. Emperors grant cannot be recalled. She feels painful now she knows she has to marry the wrong person. She tries to ask QY, Who she knows likes YF deep down, to help her out of this engagement. She might be a little bit annoying at times, Basically she can tell right from wrong and did sth. nice to QY before. Also she felt sorry for once reported LX to YT.

I think you could make a very good scriptwriter yourself. And trust me, this is meant as a compliment.

Chinese is my mother tongue, and I want to say your understanding of the drama is accurate! here's what I think about his characterization. a little bit of competetion usually can make men more active in a relationship, and when you think he is god of war, facing competetion head on suits his identity. also he never intended to kill JX or seriously injure him, but always reminded him to cherish his current cultivation. He is cold, but never as cold and indifferent as Ye Hua. He has always been pretty warm inside. His feelings to LX grows everyday, and is mixed with a sense of guilt. a more outward possesiveness is understandable.

I guess these two characters will turn out to have some impact on how the story goes and ends. it might be a little too early to say it is just for sake of a laugh. but Perhaps you are right. we will have to see.

apparently she falls in love with JC (yay!), but something happens to her but JC needs to stand by. finnally she seems to die again and resurrect as a high godess.

oh I love the storyline! the writer really has some brilliant ideas! that thounder telling everybody that the most revered Tian Zun Mountain has taken two deciples is so funny, considering how seriously taken this is I laughed so hard! and so many other parts that keep me highly interested. I even couldnt resist watching trailers for the next ten eps OMG I need to see them nowwwwwww!

She is not a general now. she has a much lower rank. she was supposed to spend the rest of her life in the tower just like Huo Dou, but she framed Huo Dou to.attack the tripod and pretended she was fighting against him to protect the tower when people came, thus she got pardoned by the emperor and got back to the army. in short, she got back because of the rule of celestial palace, punishment for.crime, reward for contribution. btw your Chinese is great to have understood so much without subs!

Which episode are you at now? One thing I like very much about this drama is that even The medicine kid (Qing Yao's servant) gets to have a personality. I mean, I don't see much of a personality even in Tian Shu or Jia Yun(Ye Hua's servants).
