Thank you so much, you explained it all so well. I ended up started A Talented Girl Grows Up, it's a completed different genre, it's shorter and lighter, once I am done I will watch TRON.

I have Netflix and iqiyi so i prefer watching shows that are on those platforms, that's why i was hesitating with AYTO.

As for TRON, it's great no romance starts until they find out they're not related, though it is a little weird for me, but it's always weird when they don't know and they already developed feelings, but it seems this show does well with this trope to not make it seem weird, I'm actually looking forward to it :)

Thank you for your comment, I've also had this in my planning and then currently watching list back and forth, contemplating watching.. I just finished watching Si Jin and enjoyed the ML acting there, and remembered he is also in this one and The Rise Of Ning (another one I have been contemplating). Your comment was very helpful as I am the same, I don't like lots of misunderstanding and would rather spoil myself about a show than to watch stuff that's filled with it. I will start this one now ;)

This is one of the first historical romance drama I've watch that's serious and not a comedy, and has soo much romance in it, though it starts midway, there are tons of hugs, (front, side and back hugs), and lots of kisses. The romance was a great part of this show and i enjoyed the leads chemistry. The costumes were beautiful, and the hairstyles as well. I especially liked the FL side braid hairstyle from her flashbacks.

The starting wasn't my favourite, and i almost dropped this, but I'm happy i pressed on, because it was worth the watch. The villains were terrible though, my goodness, they went down in Cdrama history, they had no regard for human life at all!!, but one of their demise were a tad bit too satisfying for me, I found myself randomly smiling to myself at times when I remembered it hahaha

I am utterly dissatisfied with the way the emperor handled the princess royal situation... she was the most vile person, no one publicly got justice!!.. I'm so vex haha

Hello, I'm contemplating this, i didn't watch it back then because of all the comments about the FL, but like you, I don't really follow the actors, i follow plot, script and romance.. with that in mind, how is the romance here? idc how the FL is, if the romance is worth it, i'm watching haha

Episode 4-6 had me in tears... it was so sad and so disturbing, but the grandmother was the absolute worse, I'm so sickened but such a character!!!!!!

I liked the genuine bond between the ML and the emperor, and it's my first time watching the actor who played the emperor and actually liking his character, he's always the villain in the shows i watched him in lol, but his character here was very likeable

I never read the novel, but by improve, after the brother "ran away" and the FL found him and they spoke, when he went back to their town, he wrote a letter to the FL about the parents attitude slowly changing (I'm paraphrasingwhat he said), they don't have much screen time so it isn't shown. But you only saw a scene where they were all together helping his brother prep for college. They're not shown again after that, that's how they solved that issue. (They were all shown at the wedding at the end).

That's exactly how i felt the first time i watched this, and I just rewatched it and felt the same way again.. feel like watching it all over again 😄... it leaves you so content! Ugh... I'll give myself a few months and then come back 🤣

Its my first time watching a Jdrama, or even just an Asian movie/show like this. I didnt have much expectations, but I did enjoy it. Now i kinda wanna see more like this, but can't find any haha

Hello, after i replied and they still didnt want to use the spoiler tag i realised no matter what i say, they won't change there mind and i wasnt going to waste my time arguing.. so i immediately reported there comment and did say it was a spoiler and in the notes i said they refuse to use a spoiler tag, I've yet to see any response or the comment in spoiler tag 😆
