I watched it yesterday and loved her in it, so i went looking for her other work, she's very talented :) - I watched one that isn't posted on MDL she did well in that one too.

I was nervous because it was over 4 hours, but it was 4 hours well spent!!.. They did a great job with the flow of the story, and the acting was great, sometimes they didn't have the words, but as you mentioned, the yearning, and the look in their eyes :)

I liked this version, I didn't know it was the first one, and the ML have brother's in this, the one I watched he was an only child, that's the one with He Congrui.

I tried watching the Meng Na and Chen Si version, but i just couldn't haha.. Meng Na is a great actress, but i was a little cringe haha.. They didn't have to make the FL exactly like the one from the He Congrui version, at though I liked that FL, but not everyone can pull off that cute, adorable, type of character. This FL was cute, but she wasn't like the FL from the He Congrui version, she was more dialed down and it didn't take away from the story, but then again this is a the original so it's weird comparing them haha, I'm sure each version has it's own charm.

Ps. The ML here did a great job, he didn't talk but his facial expression, his motioning, and body language said all that he needed, I won't have mind if he stayed mute haha .. his eyes also said a lot, especially when he's angry haha

There's a lot of similar plot to this one, I liked this one more than others because the ML found the FL in the first 30 mins of the show, there wasn't any mixup with the child's mother, when they got married, the FL wanted it to be a secret, the ML didn't and tried a few tricks to expose their marriage, it didn't work but not long after he was successful. The FL also found her mother's side of family, what i liked is that nothing was dragged out and there were only maybe 2 cases of bullying, one from the SFL and one from her highs school, but it was Moreso words, there was a kidnapping and it ended fast.. oh they also used a real baby in the start which i liked.
