This was better than I expected, I usually don't go into shows with a high expectation so I won't be disappointed, and even though the rating was high for this I was very skeptical haha 😆.. But, I enjoyed it, inspite of the sad part, or the drama parts, because it has more sweetness, romance and chemistry that counter those other things. Also, i love watching xianxia and have watched a lot over the years some older ones I have rewatched but the newer ones from the last few years, I haven't rewatched any, but this one I am definitely going to rewatch at some point. Its so great finding a full on romance xianxia, a lot of them the drama is so intense and sometimes you barely see the couple together, but this one was a pleasant surprise. It's by no means perfect, but if you go into it being neutral and you love romance, xianxia, great chemistry and enjoyable OSTs I think you will enjoy this.

It's so interesting that the "Zhuyu" plant that his father cultivated, is the plant that saved him "ML - Zhuyu", did his father foreshadow that his son Zhuyu would need the Zhuyu plant to survive, it's like it was made for him 😉 😄 🤣

I almost missed it too, it was a lucky thing I saw an image online with the happy ending. I was already on the last episode too, so after it said "the end" I realised there had to be more, or i would have totally missed it.
