How Many World's?!?!?!
06/13/2025 UPDATE......So I finished watching this drama a while ago, but I've re-watched it several times and when I tell you that if you think you took this drama in and received everything that was being conveyed, you didn't and thus a few more rewatches is necessary. My takeaways, that because of the trauma inflicted upon him by his mother Cirrus has developed Dissociative Identity Disorder, while the drama does not expressly say this, it's a foregone conclusion that he is dealing with some mental health issues and trauma after years of prolonged abuse by his mother. The drama has Cirrus convey this as a parallel world to Phu, who is also in my honest opinion dealing with some loneliness and abandonment issues, because his father passed away when he was young and his mother left him alone and that made him have to shoulder a lot of issues on his own, even with the friends he has surrounding him, he's still felt alone. So when Cirrus comes into his life a man, he's never had a conversation with, and offer a weird explanation as to how they know each other, his willingness to just accept it with a small amount of hesitation is because he wants love and affection and mostly not to be alone.
Both Cirrus and Phu give each other what is missing in the other's life, even if it start with Cirrus lying. It's brilliant the way each time Cirrus experiences a rest to handle a pressure filled moment, it's depicted as a car accident, a bit of a timeout in the white padded room and little bitty talk with the internal Cirrus and he returns to Phukan. The viewers have to realize that trauma for some will manifest the way it has for Cirrus as a way to survive his abusive environment. Honestly, neither of his parents are any good, because the father knowing that Cirrus is enduring abuse at the hands of his ex-wife, the question becomes how could he have left a child their to shoulder that. And how could he later allow his other son Ramil to swap places with Cirrus, so he could live freely with Phu? The other thing that people need to pick up is when Cirrus' younger brother Ozone switches place, shows someone who is walking into this situation with a calculated approach, he will be controlling the narrative with his mother and Lukpare, he will be turning the table on both of them, he will not just be his mother whipping board...basically this sacrifice is a good thing.
The other characters in the series also play an integral part to Phu and Cirrus' life. Jin the friend who can hear others thoughts, now if that's now a supernatural ability, is a causal observer of everyone's life. The fact he knew Cirrus was lying to Phu but yet he does not interfere to warn Phu because he knows Cirrus is doing it from a place of love. Oh how he doesn't warn Phukan to drop Achi as a friend, because Achi believe it or not have an unrequited love for Phu, the reason he's so obsessed with Phukan losing his virginity to Cirrus. He wants a relationship with Phu but he knows he isn't worthy, hence why he projects his on promiscuous ways onto Phu. He is also doing it because he is jealous, and that is why when Lukpare arrives he assist her in sabotaging Phu and Cirrus' relationship, because he will do anything to separate the two. You pick it up in the implied gaze of Jin in episode 9, because he knows what Achi is thinking and will do, so he gives him a disapproving look and without words spoke Achi knows Jin doesn't approve of his behavior.
Moving on to Wim, Cirrus' longtime friend, while a whole lot whining, he does care for Cirrus, however, he could do a bit better about how he makes Cirrus' situation all about him, as if he doesn't like to be right in the middle soaking up every bit of attention he can. I think Cirrus' has inadvertently "friend-zoned" Wim, because he's accustomed to Wim caring for him he is oblivious to any romantic undertones from Wim...just one possibility of their relationship, while not implicitly stated. But ultimately Jin and Wim become a couple because of their shared interest focus and empathy for Phu and Cirrus. And lastly Lin and Tee Phu's two loyal female friends, who serve as motherly figures, while I felt like there was a possible girls love story that could come from them, I don't believe P'Mame left any room to make that happy, even if it wa sutly picked up on by me...or maybe it was my wishful thinking.
Bottomline it's a great story, if you the viewer allows yourself to get out of your headspace of the real people Boss and Noeul being a real life couple or deserving a better script than this one, etc...and don't look at this series for smutty scenes, because yes, both Noeul and Boss have undeniable chemistry in that area (they are a Master Class), but really absorb the story for its underlying message and theme, which is more than sci-fi or parallel worlds. Happy watching!!!

What Is Love...Baby Don't Hurt Me!!!
This a semi-slowburn drama, a lot of reviews pass this off because of the NC scenes and the feeling that there isn't much of a story, and for those reviewers I'll say, they've simply never experienced complicated love. All relationships aren't black and white, there's some nuance involved and Sorn x Juin, Penny x June, and Tai x Champ clearly embody those grey areas.Sorn has deep seated trust issues, however he can't help who he likes, his inner conflict is from a traumatic situation that could've altered his life, still somehow plagues his ability to have a complete and whole relationship, whether with a man or woman. While passion definitely isn't an issue between Sorn x Juin, what is, is the presentation of emotions that weren't supposed to develop beyond casual sex, but the writers show that even the most clearly discussed terms of a situationship can and do take bring about different feelings. While Juin is youthful and sometimes child-like, he is mature enough to know his feelings about Sorn...feelings they both had for each other since they 1st came into each other's life.
Penny x June have crossed the river in their situation and seem to be moving in a good direction, and while there were initial misgivings between the both, it's clear this couple won't have any issues after they've laid all their cards on the table. I like that unlike the men in this series, the women know what and who they want and they state it clearly without any vagueness.
Tai x Champ, now that's anyone's guess but I hope the next few episodes 9-10 will show just what these two mean to each other. Because it's like their dating but at the same time, it's like they don't dare define it...it's like they are unspokenly each other's boyfriend without either putting a clear label on it. So for the sake of the viewers you'll just want them both to verbalize it to each other.
The soundtrack is decent, I don't care for the main song but the others when there is music is decent. The casting is nice, each pairing go well together visually and the acting is decent. With a bit more coaching and work under their belt, I'm sure those cast for this series will iron out any dryness. MFlow like many production and management house, have to continue to do the work of finding good quality stories and hiring directors that know how to instruct and execute the script in a way that makes viewers satisfied from episode 1 until the conclusion.
Overall, it's a decent drama, it's not Earth shattering, so if you're expecting that then your standards are way too high but decent acting, story, and intimacy you won't regret watching (but if you do, that's okay...every drama isn't for everyone).

Expectation Let Down
So, I am one of those people that watched episode 0 when it came out...and I was one of the many that was wow'd and expected the series which took forever to be released to live up to expectations I had from watching episode 0...well it was a dismal disappointment, and I am sure the Director and Script Writer, as well as the most of the actors for this project knew they did not do their best work when they put this mess together. The series, which was 12 episodes that I watched and fast-forwarded through a great chunk of due to horrible acting, and plot holes in the story line so huge you could park a Ford 150 King Cab or a 1970's station wagon in it. The supporting characters: Candy, Boat, etc...weren't even needed, they did nothing to move the story alone. If you wanted a comedy or to see incompetence, the the supporting character will give you what you are looking for.
The movie which was supposed to tie all 12 episodes plus episode 0 together, in a clean, clear and concise manner....FAILED!
There were still plot holes...there was still a pacing issue...there was still the unnecessary need of side characters, which added nothing to the story. I don't really know who to blame for this, the Writers, the Director, the Actors...but there is plenty of blame to go around. They did an excellent job with the soundtrack...the music for all of the releases was fire...that was the only great thing going for the drama and the movie. The expensive set locations was also great...they gave great advertisement to their sponsors, and that the only thing good I can say about this drama and movie.
The actors who portrayed Nine - Chahub and Daonuea - Best (especially Best), has put out other dramas that were really good, therefore I know he is capable of delivering better. I was not charmed by the way he portrayed Daonuea, the character was too whiney for my taste and so unsure of himself. Anyways, I think I've said enough to express my disappointment. I really wished the drama could have a new screenwriter and director who understand what needs to be done to clean up any holes and direct actor on effective execution....it could have been so good.

Nerds, Glamping, Passion!!!!
I feel for the people who are on a crusade to burn P'Mame and Me, Mind and Y to the ground. Why all of this hatred, for some reason I feel like there is some discord going on and it's from followers if Peat x Fort (seeing as how I don't see them around Boss x Noeul anymore) but no one is saying anything officially. That said...I enjoyed the 10 episode series, Boss x Noeul never fail to deliver. Their chemistry is undeniable and it greats seeing them enjoy what they do. I love how much both have grown in their comfort levels and abilities.I love the new cast members, Donut and Fort have great chemistry as well, it doesn't feel contrived and forced. They seem to be very much at ease with each other....which is a welcomed breath of freshness, that was very much needed. The story overall is one that will hold your attention, keep you guess and yearn for a happy ending for the characters Cirrus and Phukan....I hope they get it too.
I love the attention to detail in the drama and Special...all of Phukan's clothes are the cutest, and it wouldn't be a drama without seeing some beautiful bodies...Boss been drinking his milk, I digress. The glamping scenes were a nice touch... location and cinematography is everything, It's a worthy series, and I wish people would watch it for what it is. And if they don't like P'Mame then stop following and watching her series and leaving comments to dissuade others from watching, P'Mame, the actors and staff that work hard on these productions don't deserve that.
Anyways, happy watching
