putting my prediction out here before season two in a couple months: The ending of S1 leaves us wondering 1) what happened in the conversation with Dong-Eun and Ha Do Young and 2) Now that he knows that his wife brutally tortured someone in her youth and that the victim has a revenge plot, which side will he choose? I’m honestly thinking that he may choose his wife for the sake of “their” child (iykyk). However, that is just a prediction….
This was a cute rom-com....until it wasn't. Hate how it became a cliché melodrama at the end. So many questions left unanswered as well. Did I cry? Yes. Only because they built his character up so much only for it to lead to disappointment.
Oh wow, do you know why Netflix deleted the scene? I had no idea until just now.
I believe it had something to do with Chinese-korean conflicts right now as the scene promoted a Chinese brand or restaurant and knetz got mad about it due to current tensions.
Just started watching hello mr. gu and omg this man looks like so many other actors, but completely different at the same time! Definitely will have to stay updated on his projects in the future :)
If you’re looking for a slice of life type show, this is it. Best friends who are always there for each other, subtle romance, & patient stories all come together under great writing to make this a feel good type show. Personally, there was always something every episode that would make me laugh, and sometimes cry & I truly felt like I was part of their friend group. 10/10 recommended :)
