Why does all the Chinese dramas have open or sad endings? I know that this is the most realistic ending but I…
I just added this to my put on hold list with Fangs of Fortune. I am in serious need of happy endings right now and as much as I have been dying to watch them...I don't think I can handle a cry session I might not stop.
Ep 1 - fl runs into her ex at a friend's pre wedding party (where the ml is also), he tries to apologise and woo…
That was the last straw for me. I felt like she had everyone's side but his. She shut down without even talking about what was making her mad. She was super immautre for someone that had been in a 7yr relationship. It got tiring to watch. I might pick it back up....maybe

Yea..I'm not gomma lie. I just couldnt put up with FL (not the actresss but the character) I dropped it at episode 14 . I was wondering how it finished though this saved my FF button..thanks
I'm glad my opinion was able to help someone pick it up to watch! That's exactly it, people ask for diversity…
See that goes for Joe as well. He has so much unconditional love to give that he thinks he finds that with Ming. He calls himself a orphan because he has no close family to give him that unconditional love.So he just wants to share that with someone. He also saw the red flags, but he did not want to put a condition on his love.He wanted to show me that he could love him through all of that. Was it reciprocated..... no but alot of love in reality is exactlyblike that.
And he tried to get away from Ming. But the one thing that I noticed that they kept pushing. Was that when you love someone that deeply it's very hard to get away. You can leave them alone. You can move across the country from them , but if you aren't able to reconcile how to feel , never get over it. Even if everyone wishes you would.
Lots of people sayingvthey would leave Ming but who doesnt struggle with letting go of love thats not good for you? That's a lot of unraveling. You have to do with your feelings. I also feel like Sol mirrored Joe when it comes to trying not to love someone. Sol ALWAYS came back hoping for a scrap of his love. Joe just wasnt as messy as Ming about it. He put boundaries in place.

I find myself wondering why Ming is the way he is. Personally, I feel like he's no one's center of the world and that's exactly what he craves to be. He loves Tong but he's with his sister. No one in the family really listens to him except maybe his sis. He wasn't really shown how to love someone properly this is his way of showing it. I mean of course it awful but people are like this.
But the way that I have to think about his character is exactly why flawed characters are necessary. The show that all people aren't the same.
I just want to say thank you for your take on this. I swear the negative comments on this had me put this on hold for a while and I am currently on episode 3 and its not as bad as they were making it out to be. I dont understand why people complain about the toxicity and then in the same breath scream we need more diversity in the BL genre. Reading your review helped me so thanks.
When I tell you I feel like you are speaking from heart. I feel let down especially since Im only on episode 14 and Im thinking about dropping this. I have it playing in the background while I work. I really did expect more because of the cast.
Scrolling through my tiktok...not iQIYI dropping a season 2 hint...maybe? Anyone else hear anything? I'll share the tictok but mark it as a spoiler just in case
Hi Mizz Trish, like you i dont think they should do a season 2 - they should just start over with a totally different…
The only way that I can see a season 2 working is if they did what they did on until we meet again and that's have them reincarnated. But I feel that's a lot for such a let-down with season 1 so I agree with you it should be a totally different story with no way connected to season 1 not even a hint of season 1 LOL
This comment section just shows that a lot of people here never been in a real relationship ... or any kind of…
I agree with you are a hundred percent because everything that you said is a realistic relationship and most people have never experienced that. Some people are in relationships and still haven't experienced it. I think that people still see them as their 19 year old selves and not paying attention that 7 years of past and people get older, people get wiser especially if you're in a committed relationship. I'm interested in seeing what's actually going to happen next but I think I'm going to hold off until all the episodes have aired so that I can just binge it completely.
