What happened to kisskh?Where are you watching guys?
I'm watching on the HITV app . But you need to be VERY patient with ads, unless you want to pay for the ad free 1800p version (which i don't recommend, unless you choose the one month plan)
Point 1- In the novel, Heeju was supposed to be part of a volunteer sign language teaching group and she'd been…
Wow, I wish they had followed the ending of the novel then ๐ฎ. It actually sounded, better. I liked most of the drama but didn't like this ending at all ๐
I really wanted to give this drama a 10, because I loved the first half, the couple's chemistry, the entire cast acting (especially my dear Chilbong/ Yoo Yeon Seok), and the plot was really interesting. But the ending was just meh, to say the least ๐. Lots of plot holes, loose ends, meaningless scenes (wth was that war scene in the last ep? ๐). I don't know, I mean, the ending was agreeable (?), but not fantastic or great as I expected this drama to conclude . I really had my hopes up; I was expecting an spectacular ending because this was the last drama I watched and enjoyed last year, Actually, it accompanied me during my year end and made this bittersweet season a bit better for me. That's why, I give it a 9, because it was still good. The story was interesting and original in some ways and I loved the main couple ๐๐ผ,
This drama was an absolutely nice surprise. I didn't even know it existed; I found it by accident, actually hahaha. But I'm so glad I gave it a chance. It was great! Very entertaining (hilarious in fact ๐คฃ), but also very endearing at the same time. I loved their crazy work environment and the very unique way they solved every case lol (it reminded me of the movie Police Academy). I also loved every character; their friendship; their backstories; and their humanity. I think my favorite character was Jung Hwan. Unexpectedly, I found him to be the character with more growth and depth, in my opinion (along with the amazing Captain DongBang). At first he seems like a shallow person; a flatterer that only cares about making money, and growing in his career etc; but he's actually just trying to survive and give his beautiful family the best he can. In the end, we were able to see the very loyal, empathetic human being, good friend and colleague he really is; just like the rest of his teammates. I really hope they're planning to do a second season soon. These kind of fun and very interesting dramas deserve to become a series!
I enjoyed this cute drama because the story was lovely, period!. The script was illogical even for a fantasy, because the time travel aspect was messy and left A LOT of plotholes; for example: how the h3ck did she and tae sung become friends on her last time travel, if they never dated nor did he like her when they were teens? The fact that she was her fan and he was her first crush was the main reason why they became close in the first place, because they didn't even go to the same school. (however, I did guess from early on that thanks to her, through their friendship he had become a good man despite his rebellious teen years, because he was the missing key to solving her dilemma) 2. The kidnapper/ killer part was never clear enough to me. I understand why he wanted to kill Sungjae for revenge (he went to prison because of the statement he gave to the police) but why did he wanted to kidnap Sol in the other timelines where she didn't stop the taxi nor see the tools he used for his crimes?. 3. Why was the grandma the only one aware of Sol time travels? It's like her dementia gave her a super power or something; or were they trying to imply that she was magical or possessed by a deity or what lol?. Anyways, I didn't watch the drama for its logical or well-written script, but because their story was simply adorable (also for the amazing osts) ๐คฉ From time to time I enjoy reminiscing about my early years as a kdrama fan when this type of dramas were almost the only option available lol.
I love it. Not because of the plot, because it was as full of holes as Swiss cheese, but because of the emotions…
I loved your ps. hahaha๐คฃ . My thoughts exactly, you summed up my impressions about this drama (btw I'm not a teenager either ๐. I've been watching kdramas for over a decade).I enjoyed this cute drama because the story was lovely, period!. Although watching this drama felt more like watching a Disney fantasy story than normal fiction (the plot didn't make sense most of the times and it had a lot of problems, with loose ends and a lot of unresolved answers; so the ending can't be considered as a total satisfying conclusion), I still liked it and gave it a 8/10, for two reasons. 1. Besides loving the osts very much, and the acting being good, I especially loved the inspirational and encouraging overall message of this drama . For people like me in a season of life in which we sometimes eagerly wait for a breakthrough or a miracle (to be more specific), this drama and Mokhas story may hit harder and closer to our hearts. I was reminded of a few important lessons from her story and her inspirational and encouraging quotes; especially that one about the unexpected ways in which our dreams may come true someday when we least expect it; and that as long as we're still alive, in the meantime, we should work with what we have in the moment. We have to try to live one day at time and find things to work on to occupy our minds in order to avoid giving into desperation, anxiety and even depression for the many questions we can't find an answer to right now. Only God knows how much I found this to be a very unexpected, valuable lesson and reminder for me, from a drama I had even forgotten to watch (even though I love EunBi as an actress). 2. About, the domestic abuse part, whoa, it was hard to watch sometimes, but I'm glad they presented it as accurately possibly to shed some light on a subject as sensitive as that for every country, but especially in those very patriarchal countries with a culture that tend to favor and victimize the abuser, instead of protecting the real victims. That's why I love their adoptive dad's character so much. I just loved the effort they put into demonstrating that adoption could be the most beautiful thing; even more in a country where orphans suffer more rejection than usual due to their somewhat harsh views on family. That man was an orphan, but he turned out to be an amazing human being and the real picture of a protective caring father and husband for them, despite not having grown up with a family or a father figure, in this case. Unlike their biological father, who was a sociopath for no apparent reason. I think this drama tried to make it very clear that being a good human being is something that comes intrinsically with the person and most of the time, has little or nothing to do with your family ties or what way you grew up. For those two reasons, I think I enjoyed this drama anyway (and was able to ignore its many plot flaws ๐) ๐๐๐ผ.
My love for Reply 1997 knows no bounds. I don't think any drama will ever top for me than this. I watched the…
I like and agree with your comment๐๐ฝ! Especially your opinion about Reply 97: I call it my perfect drama because I like every part of it and I so identified with Siwon's life as a crazy teen fan (with the Backstreet Boys in my case ๐) And also with the #teamChilbongie part hahaha I did that too on forums and everywhere possible ๐คฃ I think I'll never get over it, I'm still traumatized by that drama's ending, To the point I do not think I'll be able to rewatch Reply 94 again, even though I liked the drama a lot. It is still one of my two worst second lead syndrome ever (along with #teamgoodboy on Startup Up;that was another traumatic experience lol)!. About reply 88, I think I have to differ. Since I had already learned my lesson lol, I didn't fully support any team this time. I felt really bad for the other guy, but I really liked (and could figure out) who the husband was this time. For me the real magic of that drama was the emphasis they placed on the family, community and friendship aspect of the drama. I still shed some tears when watching that nostalgic ending; because it makes me think about my own family, when I was growing up and my parents youth, also (the ost on that part made it more emotional ๐ฅฒ๐ซถ๐ฝ).
Beautiful writing ๐คฉ๐๐ฝ You perfectly described the reasons why this Reply series are still my favorite, even after more than a decade of watching different dramas continuously ๐๐๐ฝ
