Early on, I considered the possibility that Kim Ian had attacked her and she stabbed in self defense. ... now…
I've being thinking about that theory since the early episodes. But I discarded it thinking KBS wouldn't allow that kind of plot...but after last week episodes, I retook the theory because the way in which Maestro Nam tried to make clear To Kim Ian's brother that he wasn't the murderer was kinda "special", to say something. He emphasized that they met in Europe years ago; that he was a dear hoobae and his best friend (or only real friend) in the world. I don't know but I felt like the writers wanted to tell the audience something through that dialogue. And if that becomes true, that they were a gay couple, it would make sense that his dad wanted to cover everything about his death; but still wants to find out the reason behind his murder and the real culprits to made them pay. Yi Young was probably their friend and cover up, and they became close through Maestro Nam. Girls tend to feel comfortable around their gay friends, maybe that's why there was even skinship between them in their pictures. I don't know, but that's my new theory xD
Given how ALM make 50% of the viewers mad with how the ending was written clearly tell which one of the two show…
My thoughts exactly! That's why I accepted this bittersweet ending. Despite, it being a fantasy, it was about human beings and death, so it was more realistic to end it this way. Sadly, in real life everyone dies and we need to say goodbye to our loved ones too, until we meet them again someday :( Besides, the writers were telling us clearly throughout the whole drama how it would end...it was us, that were really hoping for a different (happier) ending. So, I guess this was the right decision.
I enjoyed the ending but I was kind of hoping for a different ending rather than the typical “reincarnation…
I totally agree!!! I was really hoping for a different ending too; a happier one maybe. One in which she could have stayed with him and then grow older together until the day they both died and had to leave to the afterlife, since her lifetime would have been reactivated now that she was not longer attached to the moon tree. But I guess that was too idealistic and predictable maybe (?), so I'll try to accept this bittersweet ending better, because it was good too, only that it wasn't what we all expected. This was a beautiful heartwarming story, anyways. Btw, I really enjoyed the after credits scenes; seeing that ultra handsome new owner (I love KSH) definitely soothed my "final episode depression" a bit lol :) .

I also considered that theory of Ian's and maestro being in a gay relationship ...and Yi Young was probably their friend and cover up. Maybe the "thing" the driver is trying to find to extort the "higher-ups" he mentioned, are pictures that proof their illicit relationship. That would be an interesting and very uncommon plot for a kdrama...but I don't know if KBS with their censorship would allow such a "modern" plot lol
I love this drama so much. Its been a while i have been invested in the story of a drama so much. And reading…
Thank you for this comment!!! It's like you read my mind haha You practically summarized all of my theories: Kim Ian was probably a creep who was obsessed with her and was planning to abuse her or something; the maestro found out all of this and followed them that day (maybe he liked Yi Young and tried to save her); they wanted to blame her (or kill her) despite being self-defense murder, but since she lost her memory they changed their plans (the driver is just a paid "scapegoat") to cover up Kim Ian's messed up personality; the father knew his youngest son was a psycho and doesn't want the eldest to find out about this...etc xD
My guts tell me that Yi Young never liked Kim Ian and it was a one sized love.
That's exactly what I've thinking! Given Yi Young 's transparent personality, It's so strange that nobody knew about their so called "relationship", not even her best friend? What if he was a creep obsessed with her!? :O
acyually it does make sense, my mother has insomnia and she couldnt treat with pills but she found a way and now…
Wow that's exactly how I "cured" myself from my insomnia and sleep anxiety: I also leave the tv turned on the whole night ????...ok this comment helped me to finally decide on watching the drama ????????

I can't stop on speculating that the security guard at the mansion is the killer. I don't know why, but the fact…
I just created this account to tell you that I totally agree with this! ???? He's really suspicious! Especially after Young Goon almost got killed for the ledger; the security guard immediately asked him what happened because he heard noises or something like that. He always acts so friendly towards him and seems too curious about his life...I don't know, this drama is making me paranoid lol I doubt everyone! ????
