That's exactly what I fear! That scene was kinda confusing to me, but I think you're right. Maybe Kyung from Flower manhwa ordered Haru to kill Danoh (whether for political reasons or out of vengeance to Danoh's father, or to her for rejecting him, I don't know) and that would explain how he got his scar and his desperation to save her this time. I just wonder how he was able to open and cross through the portals, though. Btw, judging from the fairy's extreme angry reaction towards Baek Kyung, it's posible that he ordered the assassination of the fairy's love interest too.

Hahahaha yes, it was clear that those two (Saemi & the other friend) would develop feelings for each other in the shadow. I guess they'll probably become self-aware, soon. And Dohwa is also my fave character! He's so cute, selfless and caring not only towards the girl he likes but to all of their friends; even to Namju who's also his rival. And he's so funny too xD I just love his interactions with Danoh, they're equally funny lol

I totally agree about Juda. At first I thought she would turn into a villain, but no, she's just a normal person who got tired of being bullied for no reason. I like this new Juda with a stronger and braver personality, who stands for herself despite being in a complicated situation. Besides, it seems that she's finally realizing that Dohwa is the one she really likes. It's starting to seem absurd for her to
like and suffer so much for someone as immature and self-conceited as Namju that treats her as his possession. They simply don't match at all!

I laughed so much at that scene hahahaha I just love Danoh and Dohwa's bff interactions; especially when they're bashing the writer's work lol xD

Well, this drama was surely messy at times, but at least it was entertaining.
Like most of us, I was totally "fooled" by the plot synopsis and I thought it was going to be just a light-hearted rom-com... but things turned out a bit bleak for the characters halfway (I really didn't see youngsoo's traumatic past coming D: ). I'm so glad they gave every main character a decent ending at least and it didn't seem forced. Thankfully, this thing didn't end in a wedding of one of the main couples; especially for our cute king because that wouldn't have made sense so soon (in kdrama world, of course, I know in the actual joseon days it would have been so different). He looked content just by fulfilling his role as a wise and noble king now, and it made me happy :D . A sorta open ending totally fitted this drama in order to please the fans xD.
Btw, I just couldn't feel the chemistry between the two main leads and I blame the writers for that since everyone says their behind the scenes were another different story.
Ok, I can't say that I'll miss the drama but I'm sure I'm gonna miss seeing King Soo (probably the main reason why I didn't drop this midway) and I didn't even know the actor before this; now, I am his fan xD

Because, I can't feel any chemistry between them on screen either. That's why I fell for the king instead lol; and he's giving me one big second lead syndrome. My thoughts exactly! I think I'm still watching this because I love that cute king xD Obviously, he will have to give up Gae TTong at the end because she doesn't love him (she never did actually; she just love and see him as family). But I really wanted to see him turning into a great king and having a happy ending with someone else at least (I thought the writer would make him fall in love with the servant girl he befriended; but they killed her character :/). He's just to precious to end up all alone D: . I'm already preparing myself for a depressing ending.

Ikr! I don't know why they are trying to force this awkward second couple when she's so mean. I hate her character and I'm also starting to dislike the boy's clingy attitude so much to the point I'm tempted to fast forward their unnecessary scenes together (and I never do that,even if a drama is really boring)

Wow, the ending of episode 10 reminded me why I keep watching this messy drama xD. I really don't care if this drama script is kinda bad, anymore xD. After all, I only started watching this to see my babe Ji Chang Wook in his comeback...and his convincing acting when filming romantic scenes, never ever disappoints :D. Love him♡

No, I haven't read the webtoon. Actually I didn't even know there was one until I read some comments here and on Instagram xD. Yeah,that's why I avoid watching Saeguk, they are too tragic! But I really liked the synopsis of this one, and so far, I'm loving the drama!

Thanks for replying! IKR, I remember that too! So, I guess it was a translation issue.... Probably, they translated the comic just as flower before to make things simple? , but the real translation is "trumpet creeper" as the name of that particular flower.

I think his brother has been self aware for a while now. I remembered that scene at Nam Jun' s party when the stage changed, the camera made a close up on a guy that looked surprised or intrigued, I don't know... well I didn't realize it then, but I think that was Baek Kyung's brother. Wow I just wonder if maybe, he's the writer? Because the fairy still looks suspicious but I am not sure if he could be the writer. He could be an antagonist from the other comic (because he seems to recognize other characters like Nam Ju's mom) or maybe just a self-aware character who doesn't want to infuriate the writer (?)

Now that you mention the comics... there's something I don't get and I hope you (or whoever knows the answer) could help me... Are "Flower" and "Trumpet creeper" the same comic, only that today's episode had a different translation for it? I thought there were only two comics (flower and secret) but it seems like they're actually three? Or is flower a new comic in development that mixes parts of the plot in Trumpet creeper (the historical one) and Secret? I'm really confused xD
