The Grasshopper guy was wearing her necklace, I have a feeling he is in love with her, and his killing everyone…
That's a very reasonable theory! And I really hope it's something like that, that she's a hostage or something, because ithat s'd be too terrible if it turns out that she's the real mastermind behind those murders. :/
So what all we are guessing till now is still uncertain!! There's many secrets ,that to be revealed later on!!…
That's a good question! If he's not the murderer and the DNA matched, then he probably have a twin brother too (I remember in one scene at his home, his mother called someone Sae Rom); or what if he also have a dissociative personality disorder, and that's what he perceives himself as a witness? Btw, his mother is probably a murderer too, I guess she killed the ex police woman, at the hospital.
My theoryThe Grasshopper who said he is a "witness not a murderer". His mom n him is keeping Yoo Jin after she…
That sounds possible! I wonder if she's the real Mastermind behind all those murders. From the flashbacks with her sister, I get that Yoo Jin is very manipulative and kinda aggressive. So, I just wonder if maybe, she could be a psycho too (I don't know much about the autistic spectrum so is just a speculation. I'm not sure if a person can have those two conditions at the same time? Hope someone knows)
Oh my, I just don't know where to start! I absolutely loved this gem of a drama and I'm gonna miss watching this every week, so much! I still can't believe the drama I wasn't expecting (because I just started watching it out of curiosity due to that particular plot xD), became my favorite of the year and the only one I'll give my 10/10 (Hotel Delluna was amazing too but the ending was so bittersweet that it kinda depressed me for days). For me, the ending was perfect, I have no words! It was totally satisfying (though it kinda felt bittersweet too for the hard lesson the king received at the end: his insecurities and sins made him lost everything and everyone who loved him, just for nothing :/ ). I loved that it kept on giving us plot twists till the very end. It didn't feel draggy or boring, not even once! Every episode was a mix of emotions; even in the second half were the initially hilarious and mysterious tone of the drama changed to a more serious, bittersweet, bleak, etc tone; it never failed to entertain. The chemistry between the main leads was superb! I just loved that young couple so much!!! They made their relationship looked so natural and not cheesy at all! Every character was well made, even the villains were awesome. One of my favorites, without a doubt, was the evil (but sexy xD) fighter/killer Danho; and of course, the great Muweol Corps, especially their badass leader Ssook. I enjoyed watching the interaction between Nokdu and Dongjoo's friends: the three widows, the aristocrat who initially loved Lady Kim xD, the sassy little girl Aeng Du and her funny father (he was such a loyal friend) and the two chickens hahaha. Another great character was Nokdu's adoptive father. What an extraordinary man! I also liked that they all stayed alive till the end, even Nokdu's irrational brother, who finally changed. The final scene where Nokdu was waiting at the beach to finally reunite with his mother almost made me cry with emotion :'). I'm so thankful to this drama and it's well made ending that which put a smile on my face :) (I had a tough year, so I really needed that) I'm gonna miss my "Lady Kim"/amazing Nokdu so much! :)♥
Best romantic comedy of 2019. Best couple of 2019. This has to be one of the best on screen couples with great…
I completely agree with your comment! This drama unexpectedly (because I started watching it out of curiosity due to this particular plot xD) became my favorite of the whole year so far...and considering that we're almost at the end of the year, I don't think another drama will be able to change my mind xD. It's my 10/10 of the year! It was simply amazing!
The moral of the story is: If the King had done what is good in the eyes of heaven, he could have kept his throne…
Exactly, that was a great lesson (although it made the ending a little bittersweet). But I loved that this drama kept on giving us plot twists till the very end!
I don't know if you can say it is feminist. I see that they break a lot of unhealthy concepts on masculinity and…
I agree! I wouldn't say this drama was just a feminist drama, for me it was more about gender equality. It tried to break the misconception that women and men have to strictly behave in a way to be considered part of their gender. People's personalities and things they like don't define their gender. I loved that the women here were strong physically and emotionally; but I also loved that although men are mostly strong (and great fighters), they also can be sensitive, cute and dexterous in things like cooking or dancing. While women sometimes are bad at it or just don't like it. I loved the message!
The show ended as it began, an existential horror where either you float from one book to the next unaware of…
I think that I made the same mistake. I was waiting for something more from this drama, like in W (that one wasn't perfect either but at least the ending was more satisfying, in my opinion); but I failed to realize it was basically a romance drama in the end. And a bit existentialist too, which made it a bit bittersweet.
I really wanted to say that I absolutely loved the ending, but sadly I can't :/. There were a lot of questions unanswered (like who was the real writer?; how did the black holes appeared?; why did only Haru seem to have the ability to travel through them, from one story to the other?) that were the main reasons why I found the drama so amazing, intriguing and exciting in the first half. It wasn't bad though. I still liked the drama and found it entertaining most of the time. But I feel that they could have developed the story better. It's like they ran out of time or ideas; because the last episodes felt a bit repetitive, kinda cheesy and draggy. For me, Dohwa and his funny adorable scenes saved the ending xD. Baekyung's redemption was also a great aspect in these two last episodes. I also liked that the 'dried squid fairy' and his love interest could reunite at least once more. Anyways, I think I'll give it a 8.5. I really thought at the beginning, that this was going to be my '10 points' drama of the year... but sadly it wasn't like that in the end :/
For me, Dohwa is with no doubt, the best character here! He's stronger than he seems, despite his cuteness. I mean, he lost the girl he likes TWICE, even when she liked him too; but he's still positive, always smiling and caring towards her and the rest of his friends. That's true loyalty! He created his own "better fate" with his attitude and I love that! Btw, I'm so glad that Kyung had his well-deserved redemption. For me, the highlight of this episode 15/29-30 was his last scene with Danoh. He wasn't the same monster from the previous comic anymore; he really fell for Danoh this time and even changed his set-up for her and tried to fix his wrongs at the end, too. He just needed someone, especially her, to acknowledge this for him to feel in peace and move on. *Kudos to Danoh* I don't know what will happen in tomorrow's episode (or if the plot twist will be that the writer intentionally made them self-aware to test them) but I would love to see (at least implied) that Kyung and Dohwa will be rewritten into another drama, and there they'll have the real happy ending they both deserve for passing the test.
A plot twist somewhere at the end is expected for more suspense but the Queen Dowager just popped up in ep 30,…
She appeared in one or two episodes at least, I think? One was when the king accused her of witchcraft and sent her away, apart from her son, the little prince (the king's half brother) that he was planning to kill (but Yul Mu ordered Dan ho to kill the boy before that).
WHO ELSE SCREAMED WHEN THE MUWEOL CORPS SHOWED UP FOR LADY KIM????
Me!, OMG that scene when the badass Muweol Corps showed up to help their Lady Kim was so epic! I just love the female empowering aspect of this drama! :D
For me, the ending was perfect, I have no words! It was totally satisfying (though it kinda felt bittersweet too for the hard lesson the king received at the end: his insecurities and sins made him lost everything and everyone who loved him, just for nothing :/ ).
