If anybody is on the fence on whether to watch this show or not due to its racial controversies. I think you should still give the show a shot. The character and scene in question have absolutely nothing to do with the main narrative of the show whatsoever. You can even skip all the scenes involving the character, and still understand what is going on in the show.
