I've been doing a rewatch lately and I've no idea why I remembered it as a good show. No one has a single bit of of common sense and is just non stop accusing the ML, doesn't matter what he does they just blame him for everything.
How severe is the punishment of being exiled for thousands of miles? Not just in this drama but I always see this…
I would guess it would depend on the resources available to the person being exiled. Some would have powerful families that would at least help them live in comfort but for someone like him that relied on borrowing other people's power I doubt anyone would be willing to risk helping him so probably means being reduced to being homeless in a strange land. Which wouldn't really much different than a death sentence in those times.
This might sound a bit weird but at times it gives me the same feeling as listening to Pink Floyd, both with the music and atmosphere that can be surreal.
Am I mad in thinking Liu Yi Jun (Xie Yu) and Terence Howard seem like twins from different ethnicities? Not the real ppl 9bviously as Terence is a POS but on screen.
First impressions not good, seems cheap and overacted for the most part like it's trying to hard. ML is alright so hopefully the rest of it gets better over time too.
when indians do musical the world gives a cringe but when the west and other asian countries do the same its something…
People like what they like. I'm sure there are plenty out there who like Indian musicals but no one obligated to just because they may enjoy one from another country.
There's not even much singing in this anyway, at least from what I've watched so far.
Croton uploaded up to 14th episode with subs for vip subscribers, so if you are interested... their subscription…
Yeah it’s nice to have a bunch of episodes to watch in a row now (I’m on 9 atm). Just so people are aware the croton subtitles are just ok though, if you’re in a rush to watch it like me they’re serviceable but if not then better waiting on the Viki subbers
did you watch ep5 with eng sub? im watching on croton mega hit on youtube its ony 1 eng sub episode per day for…
Viki is starting to catch up with subs and with them getting 2 episodes a day it’ll likely pull ahead of Croton’s 1 free subbed episode episode per day soon.
Really enjoying this so far. I used to read a lot of (western) cultivation book series where the main lead "leveled up" very frequently and although I've probably watched hundreds of cdramas by now I feel like this show has been reminding me of them the most so far while also being reasonably good story wise.
Before it started I was a bit worried that the ML is pretty brand new to acting according to his list of work on here. Turns out I shouldn't have worried.
It's extremely poor writing.
Even Xu Kai seems to think so to given he sleep walked through the show.
It's to be expected though as even the Donghua version isn't particularly good either, about average as far as Donghuas go.
