I wonder if the way the shot the sex scene had to do with showing that Ming was only interested in proving that it was Joe. Because he didt even seem to come and even if you like doing it from the back you can be more loving like Ming hugging joewhile doing it. Not like in the show, in the book, he joins a documentary crew and because of heavy rainfall there is a mudslide. He gets lost and falls off a cliff, but they never find his body until two years later.
