Well, I’m glad I’m not the only one disappointed with the love scene. Not just the editing which was so weird. Why would you intercut a love scene with scenes of a child? but even what lead up to that was kind of strange. Qian only grabbed his arm and XY took it to mean “all right I guess now we have sex.”

Yeah I was thinking something like that with the dad. And you never know sometimes “artistic” productions go like that even if it doesn’t make sense. I think it would definitely ruin the show if they went that far. Anyway after modc I can never again be 100% sure it will be happy. I feel like they were both attracted to each other, but obviously their parents were married so they tried to just have a brotherly relationship. I think YD Is bisexual and probably found it easier to just live as a straight man.

I hadn’t thought about it before since we usually get happy endings now. But what if this show has a sad ending? it’s possible, they both have horrible abusive parents. Oh I’m scared now, I want them to get better and be happy and heal each other’s wounds.

Even though I wanted more episodes I feel they were still able to tell a whole story. But a second season would be amazing because I doubt they will be able to get over their issues just getting being together. It would be great to see them navigate their problems together

Omg its only 5 episodes! I’m depressed now, I’ve been enjoying this show a lot. But even though I’m enjoying it, you’re right it’s enough to tell the story

Even knowing all of this I still think It was dumb of him to go. We know he just went to talk to talk to Le ge but he should have a plan, he should make sure he is there and not the other guy who he knows is unstable. And we saw the scene where Le ge basically shut that guy down and wasn’t interested in looking for Qian. So xy just made things worse.
