The thing that stood out to me compared to other series was for sure their outfits. From this u can guess that my favourite characters are Nuea and Kaeng. Of course, the reason why i love them it's not only that. I see Nuea as a younger version of Kaeng, a more unstained version of him. Both Nuea and Kaeng fight for their soul mates and both are very sensual, arousing, playful, but I feel like Nuea is stronger and more stable as a person compared to Kaeng, who, I believe, masks his weaknesses through this lustful side of him. Nuea has everything planned and he is able to accomplish all of it successfully, on the other hand, any move/decision that Kaeng makes is driven by his emotions.
Here is my rating and a little review (The ones for Sun-Nuea and Puth-Kaeng contain spoilers):
Ep 1-2 (Tue-Ake): 6 Their chemistry was pretty good, but the story was written or directed poorly. Their fashion is really good tho.
Ep 3-4 (Sun-Nuea): 8.5 Nuea is the definition of a bad bitch. He came, he saw, he conquered. His looks and attitude are just iconic, Sun had no chance. I legit loved all the scenes with them, especially the one when Nuea pretends to be drunk and Sun carries him home. That is what I call art. The age gap of 9 years between the actors (Max and Nat) makes this even better, because you can clearly see it in Sun and Nuea too - the scenes are bold but remain innocent and romantic. That part at the end was a little bit unnecessary, so this is why I scored it 8.5, but the confession and backstory of how they met saved it. NUEA FASHION GOD! Those genderless looks are the best. Sun with his red looks was also iconic.
Ep 5-6 (Team-Mon): 5 It’s like they’re the main couple in a show where everyone loves the second couple. A little bit too corny and basic, but still not that bad. Mon’s fashion style is also very good and i really like him in Puth and Kaeng story.
Ep 7-8 (Pao/Pae-Thurs): 7 Maybe because i've already seen every ghost BL out there, it didn't stand out to me that much, but what can i say...me still likey likey.
Ep 9-10 (Puth-Kaeng): 9.5 I can't even describe this. I held my breath through every scene and i'm not only talking about the steamy ones. This story has the best writing out of all of them. Don't even get me started on their chemistry, it's one of the best in general and their sexual chemistry it's actually the best i've seen from all the series i watched. The sexual maturity that Kaeng (First) can portray given the fact that the actor is 19 years old is mind-blowing and Puth (Takizawa Toru), who is able to match that vibe perfectly, makes them ideal for each other. Hope i can see more of them in the future. Their story also felt more real, more relatable so that’s why i think every viewer loves them (besides the sexual chemistry). Kaeng fighting for his love that he never thought he’ll feel and never thought he deserved and Puth who wasn’t able to overlook it. These two managed to display the lingering feelings they have for each other through the series without being afraid to be lustful. So, even if this love was expressed just psychically at first, because it was the only way for, how Kaeng would say, “people like him” to show it, i would still call it a sincere, pure, real love. KAENG FASHION KING!
Ep 11-12 (Choke-Sat): 6 It was a little bit messy, but had a good concept. I liked the English combined with Thai. The actors are also very handsome. Remember the past but don’t live in it, not all of us have a magical Gundam.
Ep 13-14 (Tir-Masuk-Jia): 6.5 A good lesson, but the execution wasn’t the best. How Talay said on his ig: “To live in the past is to die in the present”.
