@KJCTdramafan Hi,i don't know if this will help you as it's been a year since i finished ever night season 1.i just remember that in first season ML is characterised as child of dark and MFL as the next chief of light ,but in second season till the episodes i watched it's been exposed that MFL is the daughter of dark and the one who will bring chaos to this world. as in first season the ML family was executed/killed because of the predictment of MFL's teacher as the the who will bring chaos was born at ML's home and people thought that it was ML but the predictment was wrong because the child of dark was born after a few houses which was MFL. I am sorry but i remember ever night vaguely so it might not be helpful.
