Hi! I'm The White Truck of Doom!
Formerly known as Laura Roslin.
Why did I change my name?
I tried to set up an "actors" page for The White Truck of Doom (TWToD) because it plays such a key part in many Korean and sometimes Chinese Dramas, but it was not approved, so I changed my profile pic and name to The White Truck of Doom.
What was my first Asian drama? The Kdrama "The Great Queen Seondeok" which appeared on Netflix.
I found it by accident. I was amazed!
The next drama I found was Chuno . After that I became an Asian Drama Addict!
I like dramas that are unforgettable. Many dramas I watch I forget about after, but there are many that I still think about - and especially certain scenes. Six Flying Dragons is one.
Preferences in Order:
1. Chinese dramas mostly. Right now I'm into the short dramas, usually on YouTube, where they are combined into something like one movie. They're addictive and yes often trashy but I can't help my self.
Probably the last long dramas I watched that I really liked, enough to rewatch were: The Double., The Story of Kunning Palace, Lost You Forever (Season 1 only, didnt like S2 at all), Love & Redemption, Bloody Romance, Joy of Life Season 1& 2 (not so much 3), Love Between Fairy & Devil, The Rebel Princess, Oh My General, Reset, Sound of the Desert, The Journey of Flower.
2. Kdramas if they have a unique storyline or not too many re-used tropes.
I liked Goblin, Secret, Are You Human Too, Arthdal Chronicles, Jumong, Kill Me Heal Me, Kingdom S1 & S2, Mr Queen, My Name, Prison Playbook, Six Flying Dragons
3. Some Lakorns but rarely.
I like strong female leads.
I love Asian music too! It's almost the only thing I listen too, so if you share music videos with OSTs to dramas, I'm probably going to click.
Like to read the feeds, a good place to see what's new and is usually less spoilerish.
The only English language dramas I watch are mostly science fiction.
