Is there any romance? Or love story? Please spoil me
Dramas without romance are more interesting. They need to concentrate more on plotline, not misunderstandings of lovers.

Article The Big 10 Chinese Dramas on MDL
90% of "historical" dramas are not really historical dramas. Many of those wuxia and xianxia dramas aren't even placed on Earth. And Joy of Life could even be considered sci-fi series, because it happens in the future where just history of human civilization repeats itself.

Title Winner Is King Spoiler
I hope they pass censorship coz the wait is long!3rd time Song Ji Yang will be playing a character in BL novel…

Title Winner Is King
anyone else has noticed the similarities between WOH and WIK? ZiShu overtaking over the clan when he was like…
For me it is the same universe, but WoH is like ancient times and SPL is more like present times. They have ziliujin and mechanical birds, but in SPL technology is more advanced. And this trope about young hero who needs to abandon their happy youth is quite common in many danmei.

Yes. The only thing in common they both have is that without CQL we probably wouldn't have Word of Honor, just like without LotR trilogy we probably wouldn't have Harry Potter books

Article Back to the Past: Dissecting Historical Dramas
Where is The Longest Day in Chang'an? It has the most authentic costumes and not those frilly pink things. Plenty of action and political intrigue. And also some real historical value.

I disagree. Love Actually is bad. Is awful. Production, storyline and character development is probably the worst in cdrama history. Without Wang Yibo and Joe Chen it would be unwatchable.

The real Li Bi was fantastic and complicated character. Why there is no TV series about his life? He lived in very interesting and brutal times so there is material for minimum 70 episodes :D
