This season was just as great as the previous ones, though nothing really stood out as being better since they've all been equally enjoyable. Still, there were plenty of things about this season that made it special to me!

1. Seeing Shuhei's character, Ito Ryoji, as Daimon 2.0. He really does act and think just like Daimon, and I love that!

2. Nagayama Kento as Nishiyama Naoyuki, who's basically Daimon's disciple. I love seeing how much he's grown as a doctor and how he's become one of the best, to the point where Daimon herself trusts him enough to let him perform surgery.

3. Unlike in previous seasons, the other doctors don't seem to underestimate Daimon as much this time. They're more united, more willing to listen to her explanations of her surgical techniques, and even acknowledge that she's the best surgeon. I love seeing them finally give her the recognition she deserves!

4. Seriously, I did NOT expect the last episode to make me cry this much 😭 But what a way to wrap up season 5.

Season 5 is officially my new favorite, with season 4 coming in second. Can't wait to move on to the next season ~
