I think I’m gonna become a regular commenter for this drama. The editing is amazing and it’s so different from any other Kdrama I’ve watched. Also has anyone noticed the # of watchers is frozen on here? I wonder why?

Honestly I think Ye Ji was casted perfectly. I can't imagine anyone else playing Moon Young now, even iu.
Exactly and her voice is just perfect for the role I literally get chills when she speaks

Title Life on Mars
when you've watched signal, and you watch another detective drama, you know you'll drop it. until now, i'm still…
You literally dropped a mystery drama with an overarching plot after two episodes. You need to get to at least four before you can truly have a proper gage on such a drama. I too dropped this after two episodes but then I picked it up and it was a wild ride maybe consider giving it another shot and if you still don’t like it idk I guess it’s not for you

Title Prison Playbook Spoiler
I'm disappointed with Looney's fate. The creators clearly didn't have enough sensitivity to give him a proper…
Yeah because giving a proper ending is so much more important than letting people understand that shaking off an addiction is only the beginning of a long war against a relapse. Yeah let’s act like his first time trying to come clean would definitely be successful, and that just being in love is enough instead of letting people see the true psychological damage that an addiction can impose on someone. That scene where he relapsed scared me shitless and I appreciate that from them. Maybe try looking at it from that angle yes it was hard to watch but it needed to be. They needed to cut all the comedy his character was used for to send a very clever message that addiction is no joke. Sorry if my tone was kind of rude I just keep on seeing the same comment and feel like people aren’t seeing that when handling a topic like addiction it goes beyond entertainment and humor and reaches real life

Tbh as much as I did have a fun time with this drama it just makes absolutely no sense. The gangsters and cops are so unbelievable it’s painful, Also Shao Fei is lowkey a successful stalker, and the second couple never got the screen time they deserved. On that note however, I hope this concept of fresh plots and ideas becomes a trend in BL. Maybe then it’ll be handled better because in what world .. yunno what i won’t get into details. This doesn’t deserve a 9.1 I’d say an 8.7 and that’s only because of the concept. I won’t say it’s overrated though as I’m coming to realize BLs are just held to a different standard here. Like apparently this is as good as prison playbook. In what world.

Befoe anyone complains about the conflicts in this drama I would like to mention that at the heart of this story is a study of trauma and it’s effects which is communicated through the romance. I admit I found it frustrating and repetitive when i first watched it but over time I’ve come to understand the significance of it all which is the fact that although these two are so good to and for each other , the hurt they both share is that which makes it so difficult for them to find happiness. This is the effect of such trauma caused by negligence. Here we see two people who want nothing more than happiness but are both scared and apprehensive of it. Two people who’s past experiences present both emotional and psychological barriers between them and the happiness they deserve. That is why the continued conflict is so necessary, because it’s real and significant to the story
