I already knew that it would be a cliffhanger ending because it is a netflix series😆
At some point I concluded that if it is not at lest 25+ epis than its not a true kdrama and it end with a huge cliff... that might never have a 2nd season.
Is it interesting- yes Worth it- no I watched it in one sitting- I could use that time back. For me This is a NO without more episodes. The actors are good but you don't see much of them with only 6 and after 3 you might as well have a new cast. The way the end it makes you rethink your thoughts about the whole plot-which is good but bad as there is no more. Without a 2nd season this show is pointless.
It was a good drama. I enjoyed watching all of friends teaming up and fighting against injustice. However, the…
I do kind of wish there was a little bit more- they show the 1yr and 5yr(or something) and I wish they would have done something more for each persons spot in life.
Thank you for reading and for your thoughts, I can not recall seeing a boy's. I think it can be problematic when…
Well it was the same as any kpop boy group dressing as girls- the guys in school were doing a "talent" show. Not an everyday thing and I think that is the difference. Kind of like SNL. Where I live, we are behind in the times... there is no pride events here and it is not cuz there are no queer people just that there are so few. I really believe it depends on where you live- I live in the usa in a small town so my point of view is completely open to everyone But not every country is like mine so I can not say that clothing that is assigned to girls is not a problem anymore. Cuz it is in some places. But look at the growth from even these shows- Coffee prince was in 2007 and by 2021 they are showing new sides to the community. The same can be said for every country. These days there are more and more different types of people than ever before. Mad for each other was really great for the community but it would not be allowed in the usa- Ahn Woo Yeon would be blocked for taking a role from a queer person( I really have no idea if he is or not, just a point). Each country is at their own stage of acceptance- some are just behind. -I'm rambling. The older generation is harder to accept anything different, it really is up to the new generations to let them know something is not ok anymore. Clothing is just clothing it is no longer assigned to one role. It is the same with toys and makeup
I can see how the crossdressing could be a problem for some people. For me, I do not see it that way. I'm been watching kdramas for years and years-So it is just the same as the cold rich hot guy with the poor nice cute girl with no style. I enjoy the silly entertainment. Crossdressing is one of my fav themes just because it is impossible and I love it when the guys knows and then messes with her. (My Unicorn Girl is an example). Now I do see the issue with it being a problem and it is a global problem of making fun of different people. But I see it as more of a disguise than to be negative. When I see guys dress up- its mostly to be funny, for me it reminds me of highschool boys being silly. I instantly think of when kpop guys preforme as girls..... Boy's Day something... anyone remember that? xD The line is really thin between being funny and making a group of people into a joke. It is the same with other issues- example bodyshaming. I am going to have to say it was really nice to see how it was shown in Mad for Each Other-I was really glad they showed some light on an issue.
Is this enjoyable- yes. Is it a basic plot-you know it! But I love a gang drama. The fights are great- really great work with knifes. With this being only 8.. they cut all the boring fluff added and only give important scenes. This dose hurt the show a little-there are hardly any deeper relationships developed but the actors do make up for that with their skills.
What is nice about this show is they take the plot from a 30+epi and cut the investigation time way down. This makes it easy to watch. The case is done really well and everything links up. But is there romance? No not really..just saying your going to marry someone and then having a crush on them dose not equal romance. The truth is..... grade school level romance. With the age gap between the leads.. ..there is no kissing or passion. They are good actors tho and I enjoyed the fights.
Going to have to say that I loved this! Super cutie- ML is everything I need in my life x.x I was expecting him to be cold with this being a "don't know you but lets get married" show but he is really warm. There is no contract for them to "not" fallow. I really like that they both are willing to work for a happy life. It is so nice to see an adult couple enjoying their new partner. It is disappointing to not see any passion, but this show makes sure to the leads are always romantic every epi.
Worth it- no
