Yeap ppl like this person will always discredit FL and of course that person is mixing up storyline, bad writing with acting and what FL and ML does. Those two are separate things. It's not like FL and ML wrote the script. One thing discrediting FL always calling her damsel in distress and then now changing it to bad writing. Finished the show, I don't think the acting is bad but I definitely think it can be better with better editing and directing. They both acted the part well as being told to do as instructed but if the editing is better at their job, it will be better. Do they have too many dramas to edit that they don't have time to edit this to make it make sense? I do feel immersive in their acting so their acting is definitely not a problem for me. The drama overall is okay, not the best, but also not the worst, but there is the catch... I managed to watch all the episodes without skipping vs other dramas so it was engaging enough for me to continue watching <3 and this is something that doesn't happen to me very often when watching dramas. If dramas started dragging, I drop the drama but this drama kept me engaging so I will give them that. It isn't perfect either but maybe it's different from other dramas that kept me on my toes. FL wasn't annoying even when she harmed the ML she did realized her mistake and did gave him the medicine and even helped him applying the med. TBH put urself in her shoe, an uncle that u grew up knowing how much love he had for u and u grew up loving that uncle so much cuz he treated u so well, it is hard to doubt that uncle as well so I don't blame her, but also she isn't stupid enough to not question his ethic either. She did what was right at the moment with no hesitation and that's what matters. She isn't stupid, perhaps she have her doubt, but she also wants to hear it from her master first. The ML isn't related to her master so he blurted things out he doesn't care so plz remember that. Imagine ur own brother was corrupted and u didn't know and someone came up to u to tell bout ur brother's deed, who will you believe? It is simple as that if anyone wants to argue with my point.

And whoever is the script writer needs to re read the beginning of the novel, cuz they mixed a lot of timeline that makes ppl give up on the show.

ML was still poison and he channeled all his inner energy to FL so yes, he was completely useless almost left with only an empty shield but still trying to hide it from FL to not worry her. He never told her bout it she also doesn't know about it. FL only then realized he got no inner chi when his master tries to suck his inner chi, essence, vitality, whatever u called it. So yea he is useless with little powers left... her on the other hand she isn't a master in any type, of course her martial arts will fall short to her master. She was trained by her aunt doesn't mean she is a pro. She is only a bit above average from Lingbo them she isn't at the grandmaster level either so she is in this case also, useless but they both tried to defend against her master regardless of the outcome. They are not a saint or gods so it's understandable. Most prominent figure is CPS but tbh idk how she got that fame either because... she isn't some sort of master in any martial arts either esp if she learned her martial arts from her fiancé. I think this is a plot hole I see... I do see she travel and helped the jianghu but... I didn't see or hear what makes her so famous through out jianghu beside the last battle before she died. Actually she had rescued the ML on multiple occasion as well so IDK why ur trying to discredit her for example when he was about to die under the zombie grasp. Even when she knew he was using her back in qq sect, she never questioned him she had been helping him a lot on multiple occasions. She was also tough enough to go thru the whip and ml was not there to rescue her nor was she upset and throw tantrum about it. She accepted it completely with no hatred even after meeting him after that incident, she never resented him. U guys are discrediting FL she is righteous but not blinded either even when she admitted to liking him. She didn't turn 180 degree to being a softie like most dramas after admitting liking ml to making her completely useless fl. Her brain isn't full of ml she still outweighs the pros and cons before action.
