No I don't think so... maybe if XZ stays it will def help the rating cuz he got tons of fans lol... but for the girls its ok I honestly think it's ok. Jin Chen did her part she is a great actress ppl just complaining about her because she look very modern. Acting wise, she is a very great actress I have watched countless dramas from her and loved it. Maybe she shouldn't have participated in the drama but sometimes it is not her choice. I understand taking over a role in s2 that u didn't participate in s1 can be really negative audience would not be able to digest it and wished they would actually dressed her better esp her makeup. If you see all her stills, she is very plain looking almost no makeup at all period that makes her look very modern. The drama she filmed with Yangyang at least did her style justice unlike JOL2 tbh she does not deserve ppl's backlash. The other women are all better dressed but like Xingyue said, her role is very small and should not impact the drama rating.

I love ZLY and WYB's chemistry!!! Dude, a lot of ppl disliked it but I love it so much esp they have such good tactic in understanding. No arguments, no mistakes, no misunderstanding, no nothing they both supported and trust each other and I love it!!! Wish WYB and ZLY can star together again. Most ppl hates it and rate it as 1 jus cuz of her age gap like seriously.. they are both actors and actresses might as well go on blind date if they have to look at age LOL. She don't look her best at the beginning but her outfits and style changes later on which I enjoyed it very much and though it suited her very well.
I love it the way the WYB told her to spit the bones in his hand that is so sweet <3 I have not seen any drama like it. WYB is so good looking in that drama too way better than in untamed lol. I love LOF though :D I guess only a few ppl like me enjoyed it. Even though it deviates from the novel and unlike original I am glad I got a complete drama not like Legend of Chusen. I was quite sad and disappointed along with Princess Agents. Even ZLY was not happy bout it and I think that is why for LOS, she wants to get paid lower (Producer) but have more say in the drama so I guess with experience, she chose to have a better drama and have more say than to get paid a lot and drama come out either crappy or okay.... I applaud ZLY for taking a step up to make the dramas better and not just to get paid a lot and listen to whatever she is being told like many previously unsatisfied dramas. She has a goal and she dreams big :D and always wants the best for her audiences.
