I am on episode 4 and I do not feel heavily invested in this show. I have read spoilers of the plot and it does not motivate me to finish the show sooner. Is the romance worth it? Should I just watch it for Leo Luo? Anything else worth watching it for ... ??? Advice please?
Can someone tell me what happened to the previous general's wives, I don't remember them ever explaining it.
The General once explained they he believed his 3 previous wives to be spies, so he never developed a relationship with them. If I remember correctly, he said they were killed (but not by him).
I'm at ep 30 (part 2- ep 3) . wow consort yue fei is awesome. She shuts every one of the arrogant mouths. so cooool.
Consort Yue is the best Imperial Consort/Empress in any cdrama I have seen! (Of course, except Empress Xuan). No drama, no jealousy and no power struggle
I watched this a while ago ... I remember thinking the costumes and make-up could have been better :P . The story was definitely interesting, though. Became a big fan of Ma Tian Yu after watching this! Watching his acting in this made it worth it for me! I watched the sequel mostly for Ma Tian Yu also <3
I totally don't understand the plot and whole problem with black dragon, kang dae seong and ah sa neyo. Kang dae…
My assumption is Kang Dae Song's death would have been suspicious (since he was quite popular and running for political office). So, even when they found out it was him, they couldn't kill him just like that - if they kill an innocent, they are severely punished by the Heavens so they have to be extremely sure. Maybe once the black dragon is summoned and consumes him -- they now have justification to kill him, and won't be punished themselves.
hello... Was is ..?? really!?. You don't feel the FL kept the ML on a supernatural leash that had him brainwashed…
Personally, I don't believe his love for her was a product of Stockholm Syndrome. I just consider it slowburn for a while. I consider their love story genuine and unique. I believe if it was really Stockholm Syndrome, the ending would have been different ...
I feel like the first few episode are slow ... I personally think it's worth giving it another change. But if you are no longer interested after episode 5, then it may just not be for you ... this is one of my favorite KDramas of all, mostly because of Lee Seung Gi's playing of Son Oh Gong
I have watched through episode 20 with the fansub (AMAZING job on the subbing, btw)!! Now I want to finish episode 21 and 22 of Part 1 - but can't find english subs. Dramacool said "english subs" but in reality there are no ENGLISH subs. I live in USA - anywhere I can watch the end of Part 1?
I have to agree with the general opinion that it drags on for too long. I struggled to finish it but thankfully…
I was also a bit pissed that they brushed over the fact that she survives the poison -- my best guess was that her anxiety pill somehow acted as an antidote?? I can't come up with a better explanation than that ,,,
