This drama is not one where you see the FL waiting to be saved at every turn. I like that they let her deal with all the situations on her own. I’m used to seeing FL being saved at every turn in many dramas that it felt awkward that when she was abused; humiliated; beaten; running for her life ML was no where to be seen. Practically she looked for solutions on her own without being aided. I love the fact that she’s navigating through her own sufferings and making efforts to make her life better. In other dramas when the ML sees the FL in shumbles then he would get her a place to live in and take care of her but here he never even questioned her whereabouts until she appeared at his backyard by coincidence.. So this is really really a good dramn drama.. I’ve watched Yang Zi in many historical dramas but this is the second time watching Li Xian in a historical drama and he is so good at his role🥰.

I just normally don’t sit well with SML roles especially that one that pursues the same love interest with the ML. Even if my favorite actor plays the SML I just don’t end up supporting them somehow they end up doing some funny stuff. That is why I’ve never really had a SML syndrome. I was hoping for some change of heart here but the SML here is frustrating me. In these late episodes he is really doing a great job guilty tripping XXC as if MXL doesn’t also cause XXC pain.

This is unique for now. I can’t even think of a drama to recommend. It was pure comedy despite everything. Literary they took the path other Xianxia’s didn’t take.

I understand the pain of SML but why is he blaming XXC for losing MXL when he himself when he gave it his all he couldn’t do anything? XXC had to protect the mortal world and keep SQ in check. Dude really gave his all but NXY is guilt tripping him.

Okay. I kinda of saw how Princess Lin An fell in love with Xu Qi An but at what point did XQA fall in love with her like up to episode 20 that wasn’t the case. I was happy watching the kiss scene but suddenly this came into mind. It was so abrupt.

Unfortunately my opinion is quite the opposite of yours. Both actors played well in different scenarios of the drama. While XZ played the untrusting YBY the new actor did a good job playing YBY who is learning to trust people and open up. Both did a good job in portraying their scenarios.

In this drama kissing after every one episode is tradition✅. They are culture shocking me for a xianxia. MXL is manhandling XXC and she’s doing it so well.

What is the deal with this emperor? He is creepy and seems to be jealous of young talented warriors. He creeps me out. I won’t be shocked if he turns to be a villain.

Very very very great drama and with good OSTs supporting it. It should be a drama that everyone should hopefully watch. It is comedic but well executed.

I swear I never thought I’d love this soo much. I binged watched it and I’m so glad I never slept on it. It was beautiful really beautiful.
